Supporters of the Yellow Rose Gala Foundation will gather Saturday April 2, 2016,
at the Renaissance Dallas for the 30th Anniversary of the Gala’s establishment.
The Yellow Rose Gala Foundation was first established in April 1986, the year of
the Texas Sesquicentennial by founders Dee and Jimmy Wynne shortly after Dee’s
diagnosis with multiple sclerosis. From its establishment in 1986-2001 the gala
netted over $5 million dollars for multiple sclerosis research. One of the premier
galas of Dallas, the Yellow Rose was known for its lavish affair as well as famous
entertainment. In 2001 the Eagles, Stevie Nicks and Trisha Yearwood played at the
Yellow Rose, an event to remember that netted $2 million in that year alone.
Following Dee Wynne’s passing and in honor of her memory the Foundation has
been reestablished. The Yellow Rose Gala Foundation is an active 501(c)(3) that
has the drive and vision to forever rid the world of MS. Through this initiative the
Yellow Rose Gala Foundation is partnering with the National MS Society where
100% of the net proceeds raised will go directly to Progressive MS research.
The Yellow Rose Gala Foundation can only achieve its goals with the assistance of
generous donations from members of the community like yourself. Without these
donations, serving those with multiple sclerosis would not be possible. Since our
organization relies on the generosity of individuals like you, we invite you to
