CWL ANNUAL BAZAAR
Our annual fundraiser will be held on Sunday, November 20th at the Palmer Road Community
Center. Brunch will begin following the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Admission is adults $5.00 and children
$3.00. There will be craft, bake, and white elephant tables. Bingo will start at 2:00 p.m. 50/50
tickets and basket tickets sold all day and drawn at 3:00 p.m. Everyone welcome!
6th ANNUAL JENNIFER PETERS MEMORIAL PRIZE BINGO
There will be a Prize Bingo on Sunday, November 20th at 2:00 p.m. at the Tignish Legion.
Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. All proceeds for the Cancer
Society. This event is sponsored by the Relay for Life team the “Rainbow Believers.” Please bring
your own bingo chips.

SKIT N’ SKOF
Skit N’ Skof will be presenting what could be their last show, “Henry says Goodbye,” at Westisle
Composite High School Theatre on Sunday, November 20th at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for
adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets are sold at the door and all proceeds go to local
charities.
BENEFIT
There will be a benefit in aid of Raymond Richard on Sunday, November 20th at 7:30 p.m. at the
Tignish Legion. Raymond, a single father who was injured in May 2011, is still under Doctor’s care
and travels for therapy. His recovery will be on-going for an extended period of time. Anyone wishing
to donate items for the auction can do so by calling Blair or Marcella at 882-3765.
50/50 BINGO CANCELLED
Please be advised that the 50/50 chip bingo for the West Prince Travel Club that was scheduled for
Sunday, November 20th at the St. Felix Community Centre has been cancelled. The bingo will be
rescheduled at a later date.
ISLAND NARRATIVES PROGRAM WEBSITE LAUNCH
The Island Narratives Program of Tignish would officially like to invite the community to help celebrate
their website launch on Monday, November 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Tignish Cultural
Centre (Cap Site entrance). This website contains information and pictures on the history of Tignish.
Snacks, beverages, website access, activities, prizes, and FREE admission to our wonderful

CAISSE POPULAIRE DE TIGNISH
La Caisse populaire de Tignish tiendra son assemblée générale annuelle le mardi 22 novembre à
19h00 au Centre paroissial de Tignish. La soirée débutera par la réunion d’affaires suivie de
rafraîchissements. Un certain nombre de prix seront tirés durant la soirée, y compris deux grands prix
de 500$ chacune. Tous les propriétaires sont les bienvenus et invités à participer pour célébrer le

TIGNISH CREDIT UNION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Tignish Credit Union Ltd. will hold its annual membership meeting on Tuesday, November 22nd at
7:00 p.m. at the Tignish Parish Center. The evening will begin with the business meeting followed by
refreshments. A number of prizes will be drawn for throughout the evening including two grand prizes
worth $500 each. All owners are welcome and urged to attend to celebrate the success of their
business. It is your opportunity to hear the reports on the year’s activities from the board members
whom you elected.

The Golden Slipper Friends of the Tignish Seniors Home will be meeting on Wednesday, November

The Annual Tignish Fire Department’s Elimination Draw will be held on Friday, November 25th at 8:00
