A Journey Around the World!
UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA
SESSION1
USA HIGHLIGHTS
Activeland campers will go over three main steps:
1. Getting to know about the country (Main cities, currency,
typical dishes, flag, population, celebrities, main events,
etc) (30 minutes)
2. Watching a short video of the country (10 – 15 minutes)
3. Doing some follow-up activity (game, hands-on,
color, join the dots, etc) (45 minutes)
SESSION 2
BURGER TIME
Students will learn the ingredients, make and
eat delicious hambrugers.
Ingredients will be supplied and teacher will
lead the making of them.
SESSION 3
COWBOY GAMES
Activeland campers will play various games related to the
countrylife. Ropes and stuff will be used so students get
to know what cowboys feel when in the western territory.
SESSION 4
FLASHMOBS
Activeland campers will gather at a public location in
campus to perform a pre-defined action, a brief
dance, and disperse rapidly after the event has
conclude!
ITALY
SESSION 1
ITALY HIGHLIGHTS
Activeland campers will go over three main steps:
1. Getting to know about the country (Main cities, currency,
typical dishes, flag, population, celebrities, main events,
etc) (30 minutes)

3. Doing some follow-up activity (game, hands-on,
color, join the dots, etc) (45 minutes)
SESSION 2
MAKING A PISA TOWER
Activeland campers will enjoy learning about and
creating their own Leaning Tower of Pisa through
using their creativity and problem solving skills.
SESSION 3
CARD GAMES
Activeland campers will be playing card games
as a great way to learn a variety of basic skills,
including counting, taking turns, basic strategy,
and being good at a team activity.
SESSION 4
ITALIAN CALCIO
Activeland campers will learn about Italian soccer which is referred to as
il calcio. Coaches and referees from other countries, players on loan
from all over the world, and tifosi (fans) internationally. In Italy, in
matches ranging from the Coppa del Mondo (World Cup) to Serie A,
from international friendlies to the friendly pick-up game in the piazza, a
multitude of languages are spoken—not just Italian.
BRAZIL

BRAZIL HIGHLIGHTS
Activeland campers will go over three main steps:

SESSION 2
BRAZILIAN MARACAS
Activeland campers will make some easy maracas. These
Brazilian noisemakers are a fun toy to play with and they
also make nice
party favors to give to kids at a party.
SESSION 3
MAKING A CARNAVAL MASK
Carnival is Brazil’s biggest and most popular holiday. It
takes place 6 weeks before Easter and is celebrated for
six days with large scale parades.
Participants dress in ornate costumes and masks and the
crowds sing and dance along, just like our Activeland
campers will.
SESSION 4
BATUCADA & KAPOEIRA
Capoeira is a great way for Activeland campers to come
together and kindle their physical, musical, social and
creative energy while encouraging discipline and respect in
a fun and playful way.
FRANCE
SESSION 1
FRANCE HIGHLIGHTS
Activeland campers will go over three main steps:

SESSION 2
MAKING AN EIFFEL TOWER
Activeland campers will make a craft by building a waffle
+ ice cream replica of the Eiffel Tower.
This craft is simple enough for young children and it will
be pictured before being devoured by hungry kids!!
SESSION 3
FRENCH TRADITIONAL GAMES
In this age of electronic games and hi-tech toys, it is
often the simplest of inventions that can entertain our
Activeland campers for a long period of time.
Fortunately, traditional games are not expensive ... and
are fun!
SESSION 4
DISCO TIME
Music brings people together. Through music,
children take an inner experience and move it into
a shared creative experience.
Group singing releases energy which can be
channeled in creative, productive directions!
ENGLAND
SESSION 1

Activeland campers will go over three main steps:

MAKING A BIG BEN TOWER
Learning about the Big Ben and making a replica
will take our Activeland campers to one of the most
representative places of England.
SESSION 3
BRITISH GAMES FOR CHILDREN
In this age of electronic games and hi-tech toys, it is
often the simplest of inventions that can entertain our
Activeland campers for a long period of time.
Fortunately, traditional games are not expensive ... and
are fun!
SESSION 4
BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT
Activeland campers will show their best abilities:
whether singing, dancing, playing an instrument,
juggling or any perfomance that shows their talent
will be welcome.
AUSTRALIA
SESSION 1

MAKING A BOOMERANG
Boomerangs are a lot of fun for kids. They toss them in the
air
and then watch them return, almost like magic!
Making a boomerang with kids will give them a sense of
accomplishment and also keep our Activeland campers
entertained for the whole session!

KANGAROO GAMES FOR CHILDREN
In this age of electronic games and hi-tech
toys,
it is often the simplest of inventions that can
entertain
our Activeland campers for a long period of
time.
SESSION 4
AUSTRALIAN TREASURE HUNT
Activeland campers will embark on an
educational journey exploring “The Land Down
Under” filled with lots of adventure and fun.
There are many important and interesting facts
awaiting on this journey. Let’s begin!
JAPAN
SESSION 1
JAPAN HIGHLIGHTS
Activeland campers will go over three main steps:

3. Doing some follow-up activity (game, hands-on,
color, join the dots, etc) (45 minutes)
SESSION 2
MAKING ANIME CHARACTERS
If you are familiar with “Mario”, “Hello Kitty,” “Pikachu” and
“Rilakkuma,” then you can easily understand kawaii
characters.
In this class, our Activeland campers will explore Japanese
contemporary drawing style to create kawaii characters of
our own vision and design.
SESSION 3
THE KARAOKE EXPERIENCE
Activeland campers will have a good time singing
their favorite songs using karaoke. It will also be a
unique opportunity for them to practice their
English pronunciation!
SESSION 4
SUMO WRESTLING
Following the Japanese tradition, Activeland
campers will become Sumo wrestlers or rikishi for
ine day. They will battle and have a good time
while dressing protecting sumo wrestling
costumes!
MEXICO
SESSION 1
MEXICO HIGHLIGHTS
Activeland campers will go over three main steps:

SESSION 2
MEXICAN CUISINE
Hop on board and let’s have a Mexican fiesta!
This famous Mexican dish is sure to wow our
Activeland campers with its many options.
“Make your own taco” session takes a little bit of prep
work
but is a fun interactive meal.
SESSION 3
TYPICAL DECORATIONS AND PARTY
Fiesta Party always conjures up images of
dancing, laughter, festivities, games, Mexican food,
bright colors and basically lots of fun for our
Activeland campers by making different party
decorations!
SESSION 4
PIÑATA TIME
The Pinata traditional Game that many people enjoy
playing at outdoor parties will be filled with pieces of candy
and fun stuff. Our Activeland campers will go through a
mad rush to collect the most candy and toys.
