The campers versus counselors annual fishing tournament took place during early morning fishing. The counselors did an amazing job of catching 17 fish, but, as usual, the campers came out victorious by catching 31 fish. Chants of “wait ‘till next year” echoed through the dinning hall as we ate. Those counselors will never learn. See You Next Year! The tennis tournament took place during 1st period. Everyone played so well. Rachel in cabin 4 won the Unit 1 games, for the 7-9 year old girls. Ben in cabin 20 won the Unit 2 bracket, for the 7-9 year old boys. The 10 -12 year old units did just as well. Kate in cabin 8 won for the older girls and Carter in cabin 24 for the older boys. Congratulations to everyone who came out and tried their best. You are all amazing! Lastly, during 2nd period Camp Twin Lakes staff hosted the first ever Thunderball tournament. It was so much fun to watch everyone dodging and weaving around. At the end, Hunter in cabin 24 won. We all hope this fun new game becomes another annual tradition. By: Adelaine, Cabin 2 What is your favorite color? Green How many years have you been to camp? 17 What is your favorite activity? Archery How many years have you been growing your hair? 1 ½ years Everybody Love Spa Treatments By Alexus, Cabin 6 Spa Sydell and Patty Burns Salon came out to camp yesterday afternoon. They gave the campers relaxing massages to ease their tension and made them look amazing before the talent show. Many of the campers got their hair done, or received manicures and makeup. There was glitter and hairspray flying everywhere. Everybody looked amazing. A big thank you goes out to our friends at the two salons for taking the time to come to camp and pamper the campers. Once upon a time a girl named Lauren was dancing all around the dining room and then she asked her teacher to dance. Then when the songs were over they kept dancing until it was time to go. Then they went to an activity. They had so much fun. High Flyers Amari and Lexus in Cabin 6 went down the slide for the first time. Cabin 6 ROCKED the kayaks. Lexus and Callie learned the telephone dance.
