Please note the minor changes that have been made to our Uniform Code for the 2015-2016 School Year. These changes were based on feedback from our students and teachers last year, and we will be sending out a feedback form to our parents soon. For your convenience, we have enclosed a second copy of the code. We are implementing three things to assist families: 1. providing a “guide” for the Uniform Code (see attached) 2. building our Uniform Closet (we take & offer donations of new/used uniform pieces) 3. hosting a Uniform Swap (parents swap uniform pieces) UNIFORM CLOSET: 1. Families may donate new and used uniform pieces that are 2015-16 compliant to the school which will be made available to anyone. 2. Send items in a bag clearly marked as “Uniform Donation.” 3. To visit the Uniform Closet, please contact Storm Hutchinson or Eric Hampford. UNIFORM SWAP: 1) Please gather gently used uniform items. They should be: 1. Clean, folded and ready to be worn. 2. Items without rips or stains, for those will not be accepted. 3. Uniform Code compliant for the 2015-2016 school year. 2) Drop off your donations with Eric Ziegmont who is located in the schoolhouse during these hours: 9am - 2pm on Wednesday, August 5 to Thursday, August 13 THESE WILL BE THE ONLY DAYS DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE SWAP! (Uniform Closet donations are accepted year round.) 3) Your donated items will be inspected, and you will receive a ticket listing your donations. Please know your child’s current size for swap planning. We will refuse clothing if it does not fit the specifications. 4) The Uniform Swap will be held in the schoolhouse on Friday, Aug 14th, from 2pm – 7 pm. Tickets must be in hand on the day of the swap; no exceptions. * *Uniform will not be accepted during the swap.* Please be advised that an item-for-item swap is not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate as many students as possible based on what has been donated, and we may need to limit the quantity that is given out. If you can volunteer for a few hours, please contact Eric Hampford. (Volunteers will have first swap privileges).
