Miss Roberts writes: A massive, final, huge thank you is extended to all who participated in the various Reading Rocks events
throughout the month.
This week’s Big Book Swap was a resounding success with over
530 tokens received within the 20 minute break time allocated
for the swap. Keep an eye out for when the next one is to occur!
All books left unswapped are to be donated to a children’s hospital or worthy charity so watch this space for further good news.
Massive thanks to those who raided their book shelves and hopefully you swapped for some titles that you will enjoy reading in
the future.
Readathon winners have been decided and will be announced at
an upcoming assembly.
Mr Raja writes: Once more I would like to thank all the enthusiastic students, committed parents and dedicated teachers for their efforts and a special thanks to Miss
Roberts for coordinating the following events throughout the Reading Rocks festival:

scheduled event for this year’s Reading Rocks festival.
Books were donated over a four week period in the
lead up to the event. Each book brought in was allocated one book token and on Tuesday morning, the
pupils who had donated the books swapped their tokens for books to take home and enjoy.
Thanks to all the pupils who donated books—the leftover books will be donated to a charity in the near future. We hope you really enjoy your new books!
