Extensive Longarm Training
When you purchase a Gammill Quilting Machine from Linda’s Electric Quilters, you will also receive one day of hands
on training for the Vision and one day of one-on-one hands on training for the Statler, at your dealer location, under the direction of our staff or subdealer’s staff. Our training is project based and some students will finish sooner than others. This
training is included in your delivery and setup charge. Each new machine owner will be given their own exclusive copy of
a 4 disc set DVD by Linda Taylor explaining how to make longarm quilting into a business, the type of batting and thread
to use, tips and tricks for your machine and Ricks Maintenance DVD.

Room Size Requirements
You will need 1.5 to 2 ft on the freehand side of the table, a 3 ft minimum on the pantograph side
(the back) of the table for a Vision or a 2 ft minimum for a Statler. You will need at least 2 ft on
each short end of the table. The table is approximately 7 inches longer than the stated 12 or 14 foot
lengths, making the tables respectively 12’7” and 14’7.”
The two long sides are accessed frequently while the short end with the turn wheels is accessed
moderately. The opposite short end is not crucial for machine operation; therefore, you may set
that end a minimum of 2 inches from the wall to maximize room space. These recommendations
result in a space that is 14’7” to 16’7” of length by 8’ to 9’ width for a 12’ table and 16’7” by
18’7” of length by 8’ to 9’ of width for a 14’ table.
Another important consideration is how the table is brought in or out of the room. The table
does break down to a point, but the lengths do not reduce; therefore, you must be able to get a
12’ 5” to 14’ long 4”x 26” piece of wood into the location. If you can do this, the
table can be brought in and out.
