Plasmon’s M500 is a reliable, cost-effective
alternative for automated “mass data storage.”
With near-line access speeds, the M500
provides the lowest storage costs among
removable technologies. With ISO standards
for forward and backward media compatibility,
the 500-slot design stores 4.6 terabytes of
information and incorporates the optimum
performance MOD910 Drive in configurations
of two, four or six drives with one, two or
four SCSI buses. Data security is assured
using the drives’ “write once read many”
(CCW WORM) recoding mode.
