CREATOR 13
A more intuitive UI
The new Creator has a modernized user
interface that offers a more intuitive
workspace to help speed up 3D model
development. Creator’s new fully
customizable desktop enables you to put
the tools that you use most front and
center so it’s faster and easier to build
and modify the 3D models you create.
Validate your 3D models faster
The improved Analyze Models tool helps
you quickly identify the 3D models that
violate the rules you set and provides
you with suggestions to resolve the
known issues. This means that you’ll
spend less time trying to figure out
where you went wrong.
Add greater detail to buildings
The improved Buildings with Interior
Wizard tool enables you to create
buildings with more complex windows
and doors that enhance the overall

• The New Project Wizard helps new
users get started quickly and generate
terrain databases faster than ever
before. It provides you with optimal
terrain database settings based on
your desired output format (e.g.,
CDB, VBS2, etc.) and application type
(e.g., fast jet, helicopter, UAS, etc.)
so that you don’t have to spend time
configuring your settings from scratch.
• The new SmartBuild function provides
a level of abstraction from outputspecific parameters, reducing the need
for advanced knowledge of all output
compiler restrictions.
Sensor workflow integration
With its improved sensor capabilities,
Terra Vista now offers an integrated
sensor workflow for the MetaFlight
and Common Database (CDB) formats.
Full integration with Presagis Creator
Our content creation tools are more
tightly linked than ever before. You
can now edit and save your 3D models
by launching Creator directly from
Terra Vista.

VISUALIZATION
VEGA PRIME 13
New 3D clouds
The 2013 release of Vega Prime supports
3D cloud definition and configuration.
Realism is greatly improved through
accurate rendering and shading of 3D
clouds and their reaction
to environmental effects.
Better rendering
Vega Prime now enables you to render
denser scenes at 60Hz using the new
batch draw capability that improves
the overall performance at start-up.
In addition, you now have the ability
to add up to 30,000 light points.
Advanced sensor capabilities
Improvements for infrared (IR), night
vision goggles (NVG), and atmospherics.
This includes sensor support dynamic
heating and cooling, laser designators,
and 3D cloud decks.
Increased CDB support
CDB now supports controllable light
systems, light points, and SpeedTree
vegetation to add greater realism to
your CDB databases. What’s more,
CDB performance improvements mean
that you can load and page your data
more quickly than ever before.
Improved interoperability
Vega Prime now natively supports the
use of DIS and HLA communication
protocols, as well as the CIGI standard
as part of the base product. This includes
out-of-the-box support for HLA Evolved
so that you can leverage the latest version
of the standard, deploy HLA Evolved
federations, and create more immersive
simulations. These capabilities are
available at no additional cost with your
Vega Prime license.

STAGE 13
Enhance your simulations with
powerful artificial intelligence
We’ve integrated core AI capabilities
from our AI.implant tool into this
release of STAGE to offer a complete
computer generated forces (CGF)
simulation solution. Using robust
character and vehicle AI to simulate
complex mission behaviors, you’ll be
able to develop your entire simulation
architecture from the ground up.
The new STAGE supports more
characters, now solved at 10Hz. Develop
urban ground-based applications
more quickly by easily scaling the size
of your simulation exercises. What’s
more, STAGE’s improved vehicle and
pedestrian navigation capabilities make
your applications even more realistic.
Licensing that fits your company
You can now purchase a base license of
STAGE and add the modules you need
for the development of your simulation

New content available out-of-the-box

A number of new features have
been added to STAGE to improve its

VAPS XT
Improved user experience
Release 4.0.1 incorporates a wide range
of design, usability, and performance
enhancements to help streamline your
HMI development.
The latest release enables high precision
object placement and provides native
support for multi-line text displays
and input.
Compiler support
The VAPS XT now supports pre-compiled
libraries for Visual Studio 2008 for
Windows XP 32-bit and Visual Studio
2010 for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.
Native support for 64-bit libraries
allows VAPS XT 4.0.1 to be integrated
into 64-bit applications, such as
Vega Prime 64-bit.
