FELLOWSHIP NIGHT AND SPORTS FEST AWARDING CEREMONY
Capping the first day of the activities was the much awaited
Fellowship Night. The Chapter Officers, delegates, exhibitors, and fellow
electrical practitioners from Iligan City and Lanao del Norte gathered
together for a night of camaraderie and enhanced friendship.
The Fellowship Night and Sports Fest Awarding Ceremony started at 7
o’clock in the evening. Dinner was (then) served to all present. The delegates
were observed to be “alive and kicking” during the performance of the Live
Band headed by Sir Nick Requitillo, a registered mechanical and electrical
engineer by profession. The participants loved to hear the acoustic music
played by the band.
The Chapter President, Engr. Michael S. Abong, exposed his hidden
talent that night. He joined the band and strummed the electric guitar to the
3
amazement of everyone. That night, everybody appreciated Engr. Abong for
being a musician at heart.
Engr. Nelson Enriquez presented his share of talent at the Fellowship
Night. He was named “Totoy Bibo” during the 18th Northern Mindanao
Regional Conference Fellowship Night. He showed to everybody how he won
the said title. He is a modern dancer who can easily imitate (really can
dance, still super active, imitating) the moves of Michael Jackson. His
performance truly added flavour to the Fellowship Night.
The student delegates also showcased their talents. The presenters
were students from St. Peter’s College and Lyceum of Iligan Foundation.
Most of them sang acoustics while other groups showcased their dancing
skills. This just proves the overwhelming talents of the Generation-Y. The
Sports Fest Awarding Ceremony then followed. There were three (3) games
