In addition to the blooms, what makes the Sun Trumpets significant is the compact habit and early flowering in a smaller pot. While most will be sold in gallons, it could bloom in a quart. And plants will just reach 2 feet tall in the landscape compared to what is typical in tecoma (twice the height). They have two colors available, orange and a yellow. Each mounted work of art can have either a wall-­‐mount, or easel style, depending on size of course. Mike made sure to tell us these need to be in the shade to guard form UV exposure, as most all printed material are subject to. But the ability to feature these in an outside setting is amazing! Both decorating a Garden Center and possible resell were discussed. Remember, this is high-­‐quality artwork so don’t be surprised by the costs.
