Health considerations play a fundamental role in sauna
construction. Other than sleep, a visit to the sauna is the
most effective and oldest form of recuperation for body
and mind. While the warmth of the sauna relaxes your
muscles, perspiration helps the organs to detox, cleanses your skin and strengthens your veins and arteries –
the best foundation for continued health. From drawing
up the initial plans to finalising the interior fittings – we
have the solutions to meet all your sauna requirements.
Pioneers in sauna building
The creation of the Küng AG Saunabau company in 1974
marked the advent of a new era in Swiss sauna innovation. From the start, Tony Küng and his team set out to
redefine the sauna experience. We recognised that saunas
are as personal as the clothes we wear or the homes we
live in, which is why no amount of planning and effort is
too great in our quest to understand and fulfil our clients'
individual needs.
Made to fit
Saunas are considered an integral space within our
homes today, and can be located accordingly in any part
of the house we desire: in bedrooms, under sloping
ceilings, in living rooms, adjoining the kitchen, in alcoves
or in the garden. Because Küng stands for personalised
comfort, we fit your sauna to suit the space available,
and not the other way around.
We base our square sauna layouts on a 9-cm scale,
although made-to-measure dimensions are also possible. From bevels and curves to L-shapes and special
layouts – an almost infinite range of design options
are at your disposal.

Finnish
sauna (or «dry sauna»)
ideally has a temperature of between 80 and 100°C
and a low humidity of between 5 and 20%. With an air
temperature of around 55°C and humidity of 45%,
our special bio-sauna (BIOSA®), on the other hand, is
similar to a Turkish steam bath.

The heater
Climate control
Heaters are the centrepiece of every sauna. Heaters developed by Küng Sauna are the result of years of testing
and continuous monitoring with respect to performance,
safety and durability. They fulfil strict environmental criteria while satisfying high standards in terms of design.
User-friendly touchscreens control temperature,
humidity and therapy settings as well as various other
functions in a sauna cabin. Our touchscreens are
precision instruments – developed and manufactured
mainly in Switzerland. They maintain a consistent and
consequently healthy sauna bathing environment.
