Newest Addition to the Club
Excalibur SC is happy to announce Taylor Houck will be the newest
member of the Excalibur coaching staff! Taylor will be coaching our
U15 and U16 girls teams. Currently, Taylor is an Assistant Coach
for the Oberlin College Women’s Soccer Team.
Taylor began her college soccer career at Nebraska University. She transferred after her
freshman year, and finished her career at Villanova University. While attending Villanova
she was a three year starter and two year captain. Taylor was the starting center back for
the Wildcats and was considered the anchor in the backfield. She was named MVP twice
during her career and was a four-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star. In 2012 Taylor was
Second Team All-BIG EAST. She was the only player for Villanova to play in every minute
of every game. After finishing her career at Villanova, Taylor then played professional
soccer in Kuopio, Finland, in the Naisten Liiga, which is the highest-ranking league in the
country. While overseas Taylor also served as an assistant coach of a U15 Girls team.
