Contour Console
Installation Instructions

Remove forward OEM console plastic
cover to expose OEM mounting points
for aluminum floorplate. Remove (2)
10mm flange nuts. Nuts will be re-used.

With both hands, grasp the plastic OEM
console on both sides and pull directly
rearward to release.

Remove (2) 8mm mounting screws at
the rear mounting point of the aluminum
floorplate.
Screws will be re-used.
This will allow the removal of the OEM
aluminum floorplate and brackets.

Disconnect USB connector from harness.
Remove Ignition Proximity Sensor from
plastic OEM console. Ignition Proximity
Sensor will be remounted into Jotto Desk
Contour Console.

This will expose the plastic OEM console.
Remove (1) 10 mm flange nut from center
of plastic console. Nut will be re-used.

Loosen the (2) 10 mm bolts on the side
of the dash structure. Loosen, do not
remove.
Disconnect 12v socket wire harness
assembly from underside of plastic OEM
console. Pop out AUX socket from
center of plastic OEM console.

Position 1/8” thick Mounting Plate onto
top of transmission hump. Align the slots
of the floor portion with the OEM mounting
studs and position the mounting plate
ears to go between the OEM mounting
brackets and the vertical OEM mounting
tabs. Tighten bolts and flange nuts.

Console can now be adjusted forward
and up to ensure a tight fit/finish with the
OEM dash structure. Secure using the
provided flanged button head cap screws
through the side of the Jotto Desk console
and use the 8 mm screws from the rear
mounting point of the OEM floorplate to
secure the Jotto Desk Contour Console.

Position Jotto Desk Contour Console
over the top of the Mounting Plate,
making sure the “wings” are outside of
the OEM dash sub-structure. Then line
up the holes on the side of the Jotto Desk
Contour Console with the slots on the
side of the Mounting Plate.

Relocate the Proximity Sensor to the
mounting studs on the Jotto Desk
Contour Console. Use the provided
8-32 nylon washers and place between
console and sensor.
You can now relocate the OEM 12V
outlets and USB hub into the console.
NOTE: Due to the remote starting feature of
this vehicle and the variations in equipment
that mounts in the console, we have found that
in rare instances the vehicle will not start as
planned. If this occurs, it may be necessary
to re-locate the sensor to a new location in an
effort to reduce the “shielding effect” of the
metal console. Please find a suitable location
under the dash that will protect the sensor
from damage and secure it using nylon ties.
