Der DJ, Produzent und Fashionist Christopher S
mischt seit Jahren zuvorderst in der nationalen
und internationalen House Szene mit.
Seine Compilations Jetset (2006), V.I.P (2007)
und Superstar (2008) erreichten jeweils Platz 1
der Schweizer Compilation Charts, die restlichen
Publikationen platzierten sich in den Top Ten.
Insgesamt veröffentlichte er über 40 Tonträger,
darunter über 18 Alben und zahlreiche
Compilations (u.a. Street Parade, OXA Double
House, Energy House).
Die Berner Zeitung, die grösste Zeitung der
Schweizer Hauptstadt, bezeichnet ihn als „einen
der erfolgreichsten Schweizer House-DJs“. Den
Grundstein für seine langjährige Musikkarriere
legte Christopher S 1996 als Resident-DJ im
Thuner Club Nachtwerk sowie im Tonis The Club
in Bern. Der am 16. Oktober 1969 geborene
Berner war damals bereits 26 Jahre alt. Neben
dem Erfolg ist eines seit Beginn seiner 16-jährigen
Musikkarriere geblieben, die Leidenschaft für die
Musik. «Musik ist für mich pure Lebensfreude,
mein Lebenselixier! Musik bedeutet für mich
Ausdruck meiner Gefühle», so der Vollblut DJ.
Seine Compilations und Alben sind, wie es sich
für Werke von Christopher S gehört immer ein
weiterer persönlicher Triumph. Der DJ zeigt darauf
eine Variation aus aktuellen Clubkrachern und
neuen Eigenproduktionen. Die Single „Star“, stieg
direkt auf Platz 84 der offiziellen französischen
Singlecharts und auf Platz 38 bei dem wichtigsten
Dance Floor Radio Fun Radio ein.
In der Schweiz kletterte der Track auf Platz 64
der offiziellen Schweizer Singlecharts. In der
Schweiz sind es die angesehensten Radiostationen wie DRS 3, das Radio mit der schweizweit
grössten Hörerschaft, oder Radio Energy, welche
seine Singles spielen. International ist Christopher
S mit seinen Tracks zuvorderst in den
DJ Download Charts vertreten. Mit der Single „Let
you go“ verzeichnete Christopher S zusammen
mit der spanischen Sängerin Nalaya (Supermarche
Privilege Ibiza) einen weiteren Erfolg. Sie erreichte
Ende 2012 den 1. Platz in den offiziellen WDM
Charts in Südamerika. Zu Beginn des Jahres 2013
brachte der Blick, die grösste Schweizer Tageszeitung, eine Titelstory über Christopher S, was
nur wenige Prominente in der Schweiz geschafft
haben. 2014 erreichte Christopher S mit dem
Album „Dance until we die“ Platz 6 der offiziellen
Schweizer Album Hitparade. Die Singles „I can‘t
get no sleep“ und „Good Time“ landeten in den
Top 30 der offiziellen Schweizer Single Hitparade. Die grösste Schweizer Tageszeitung „Blick“
wählte Christopher S in die Top 100 (Platz 63) der
bekanntesten Schweizer!! Ein weiteres Highlight in
seiner Karriere ist die Zusammenarbeit mit Jenson
Vaughan (Producer von Madonna, Snoop Dog,
Armin van Buuren, Alex Gaudino, Kelly Rowland,
Timbaland, Ian Carey, Dj Antoine usw) und TomE
die den Song „No Place like Home“ schrieben.
Das Video wurde in Los Angeles von Ben Griffin
gedreht der schon Grössen wie Rihanna, Chris
Brown, Snoop Dog, Taio Cruz usw produzierte!
Wenn Christopher S was anpackt, dann immer
mit vollem Einsatz. Die Energie für seine Projekte
tankt er bei seiner Familie in Bern. Der Berner ist
stolzer Vater von zwei Söhnen. Ihnen ist auch der
Song „Letter to my Sons“ auf seiner Compilation
GLORIOUS gewidmet. „Meine Jungs bedeuten
mir alles. Für sie würde ich mein Leben geben“,
so Chris.

DJ and Producer Christopher S is one of the top
DJs in Switzerland. With more than 200
performances a year in the hippest locations
across Europe, his name has long been
established internationally as well.
His performances attract an average crowd of
2000 party people.
His compilations Jetset (2006), V.I.P (2007), and
Superstar (2008) reached number one on the
Swiss Compilation Charts. All his other
publications were positioned in the Top Ten. All in
all, he has released over 40 records, among them
18 albums and numerous compilations such as
Street Parade, OXA Double House, Energy House.
The „Berner Zeitung“, the most prominent
newspaper of the capital of Switzerland, calls him
„one of the most successful Swiss House DJs.“
Christopher S started his music career in 1996,
playing numerous clubs throughout Switzerland on
a regular basis. He was a resident DJ at the clubs
Nachtwerk in Thun and Tonis The Club in Bern.
At that time, he was already 26 years old. Even
though he’s been in the music business now for
over 15 years, his passion for music is still very
much present. “Music is for me pure happiness,
my elixir of life,” he explains. “Through music I
am able to express my feelings.” His compilations
and albums are always another personal triumph,
as always by Christopher S. The DJ shows on it a
variation of current club smashers and new own
productions. The single „Star“ entered the official
French Single charts at number 84, and number
38 on the most important dance floor Radio
Chart on Fun Radio. In Switzerland, the track
started at number 64 on the official Swiss Single
Chart, and the most famous radio stations, for
example DRS3 or Radio Energy, play his singles.
Internationally, Christopher S holds one of the top
positions in the DJ downloading Charts. One more
success for Christopher S was the single “Let
you go” together with the Spanish singer Nalaya
(Supermarche Privilege Ibiza). At the end of 2012
the single was at the top of the official WDM
charts in South America. The biggest Swiss daily
newspaper “Blick” published at the beginning of
2013 a cover story about Christopher S. Only few
Swiss celebrities reached this. In 2014 he got on
#6 in the official swiss album charts with „Dance
until we die“. The singles „I can‘t get no sleep“
and „Good Time“ from this album were placed in
the top 30 of the official swiss single charts. The
biggest swiss newspaper chose Christopher S as
one of the 100 most famous people of the whole
country (#63)!! A further highlight of his career is
the collaboration with Jenson Vaughan (Producer
of Madonna, Snoop Dog, Armin van Buuren, Alex
Gaudino, Kelly Rowland, Timbaland, Ian Carey, Dj
Antoine etc.) and TomE which wrote the song „No
Place like Home“ together. The videoshoot took
place in Los Angeles under the direction of Ben
Griffin who already produced vieoclips for
big artists like Rihanna, Chris Brown, Snoop Dog,
Taio Cruz!
Whenever Christopher S takes on a new project,
he does it with full engagement. He derives the
energy for his numerous projects from his family
that lives in Berne. He’s the proud father of two
sons, to whom he dedicated his song „Letter to
my Sons”, which is on his compilation GLORIOUS.
“My sons mean the world to me. I would do
anything for them,” he admits.
