HIS Report - Hosanna Institute of the Sahel
HOSANNA
INSTITUTE OF THE SAHEL
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power
of God for the salvation of everyone who believes” Rom.1:16
Dear friends and partners, we would like to thank you for all your prayers and
support for His work here in Niger. Only through partnership can we help bring
spiritual and physical transformation to this nation. We believe in the power of
the Gospel, which is really the power of love through the unity of the body of
Christ.
You help bring:
a cup of water where it is
needed,
a bowl of millet,
a piece of clothing,
a visit to the prison
as unto the Lord Jesus.

Guesthouse and Short term Mission teams
We thank the
Lord for providing
this guesthouse
so timely and in a
great location.
From September
to April it has
been used to the
max and we have
been able to house, as the Bible says, “Angels” sent by God.
Several teams from the US came to drill wells and help with medical outreaches to the most
needy.
A team from Helping Hands and HIS Germany installed solar panels for the Guesthouse and
helped with different trainings such as: car mechanics, sewing, housekeeping, repairs,
medical training.
Praise report: some of the trainees from the sewing and the housekeeping courses have
received good jobs as a result of the training.

New Office building for Hosanna & Partners
Beyond every understanding, God did a miracle and provided this building and an additional
property beside it. The new building will be used as office space for HIS and partners and
the top floor will be used for RTF (Radio and TV Fidelitee).
The property beside it will be big enough to built the RTF-Tower and to store the well
drilling equipment and all the different trucks needed for the HIS projects.
MEDIA – RTF Radio Television Fidelitee
The media Center has been on the move for the last few months. Finally it has found a
home in the new building. We are thankful to the Lord for providing the right people at the
right time and the right equipment for His work here in Niger. In spite of oppositions, the
Lord is faithful and continually shows his favor to keep the Stations on the air. We are
believing Him for all the necessary provisions to be able to reach out to the remotest places
in Niger in the main local languages, which are; Hausa, Zerma, Tamasheq, Fulani.

Kollo Clinic
For the last 2 years
Miriam and her
husband Nils,
originally from
Sweden, have done a
wonderful job as
coordinators of the
Clinic.
In the first week of May we have been blessed with a second
medical doctor at the clinic in Kollo.
Construction is also going on, a new kitchen building is coming up.
Literacy training – Training teacher
Eight Woodabe have been trained to teach reading
and writing in their own language. They had a three
weeks training with SIL and some additional training
in church. Today one woman’s and one man’s class
are running, all together about 25 students. Some of
the teachers are taking it to their village up north.

Hosanna Center,
Niamey
Hosanna’s
multicultural Center in
Niamey has a new
choir representing the
different ethnic
groups that are
meeting each Sunday for worship and celebration.
Hosanna’s vision is to establish ethnic centers where people can meet and have weekly
Bible studies in their own languages. Here they can be taught practical life skills too, in
order to be an example in their communities and to be better equipped to reach out to
their own people group.
Woodabe Center under construction
Construction is going on at the property for the Woodabe center. A three room building to
house the leader and his family and a couple of evangelists will be ready in another week. A
hangar is planned for training purposes.
Praise report: A well has already been drilled and a pump has been placed in front of the
property to allow them to have clean drinking water.
