As a large seasonal employer and operator of an anchor tourism attraction, the Society is a key economic partner in the Muskoka area. - R.M.S. Segwun and Wanda III are two of the most successful nautical restorations in North America. - Wenonah II is the latest addition to our fleet and is the first ship constructed in Gravenhurst since 1907. - Since 2000, the Society has invested over $1Million in capital improvements in the Ships. Today, the society is a not-for-profit registered charitable organization managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Society owns Royal Mail Ship Segwun, Wenonah II, and Wanda III, and operates the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre. The Society funds the operations and educational programs through membership fees and donations, ships ticket sales, Heritage Centre admissions and venue rental, fundraising, government grants and donations.
