FOIN® COTTE DE MAILLE
Sheet consisting of joined rings made of stainless steel and welded together. Each
of these rings intersects with the four rings adjacent to it. Originaly an industrial
product, this chainmail was originally designed as protection against sharp
blades.
The small size of the SL rings gives it a fluid effect and makes it ultra soft to
the touch. Its natural drape makes it particularly suitable for all shapes. Its partial
transparency generates a host of visual effects and facilitates its use with other
materials.
The SL chainmail is made entirely from 316L stainless steel. This quality provides
it with excellent resistance to corrosion and fire as well as an exceptionally long
life cycle. As a result of our welding technique, it demonstrates very high tensile
strength and resistance to deformation.

same rings in order to obtain the desired dimensions*.

The medium-sized rings used for this chainmail gives the “Chainex” a last that is
ever so suitable for wide-scale drape effects. Its partial transparency caters for a
host of visual effects, enabling it to be combined with other materials.
The Chainex 07 chainmail is made entirely from 316L stainless steel. This quality
provides it with excellent resistance to corrosion and fire as well as an exceptionally

This Chainex 07 mesh stands out as a result of the greater wire diameter used.
Of a higher visual density and weight, it offers a long last along with properties of
increased resistance. It is suitable for use in architecture. Its resistance and wide
opacity enable it to be used in non-gathered hanging panels.
The Chainex 09 chainmail is made entirely from 316L stainless steel. This quality
provides it with excellent resistance to corrosion and fire as well as an exceptionally
long life cycle. As a result of our welding technique, it demonstrates very high
tensile strength and resistance to deformation.

Sheet made up of aluminium square-proportioned plates, assembled in layers
and joined by stainless steel rings.
Originaly an industrial product, the Lamex models were initially designed as
protection against sharp blades. The standard finish is in primary aluminium.
A range of colours* enables plain or mixed sheets to be made.
With the sheets joined by facets, the Lamex mesh, due to its construction,
combines flexibility and rigidity. It can be used to create a regular drop or a
sculpted shape. Offering visual occultation, it lets the light filter through and
can be enhanced by special lighting.
The combination of aluminium and 316L stainless steel leads to a lightweight
product endowed with excellent tensile strength and resistance to deformation,
corrosion, fire, along with an outstanding life cycle.

Sheet consisting of aluminium square-proportioned plates joined at
the angles via stainless steel welded rings.

Built with half the number of plates as for the Lamex+ model, this
‘‘weave’’ is astonishingly flowing and light. As an articulated textile, it
catches the light and vibrates as soon as any contact with it is made,
like a wave. It calls out to be touched as demonstrated by its joyous
sounds. Extremely deformable, it captures the light as it filters the light
according to the hanging mode selected. It can be highlighted by just
the right lighting.
The combination of aluminium and 316L stainless steel leads to a
lightweight product endowed with excellent tensile strength and
resistance to deformation, corrosion, fire, along with an outstanding
life cycle.
The chequered Lamex+ model comes in a unique format. The
sheets are finished by a continuous band of plates at the border.

Sheet consisting of aluminium square-proportioned plates assembled in layers
and joined by stainless steel welded rings, with each square placed regularly, in
open-work. It comes in a colour* range that enables the sheets to be made either
plain or mixed.
As in the case of all Lamex sheets, their ‘‘woven effect’’ combines flexibility and
rigidity while catching the light remarkably well. Its open-work gives it an original
look while creating articulated folds at the different facets.
Its use in moucharaby is particularly interesting at the architectural level.

base, allows for a multitude of décors and surface treatments.

material that can take on all shapes. Its fine quality, blended with its domed shape,
reacts particularly well to the light, thus creating an outstanding drape effect.

A choice of eleven colors, obtained by anodizing the plates. Sheets can be
plain or multi-colored, the color and size of the plates are selected and the mix
is random. As the join between two parts of Lamex+ is invisible, sections of
different colors can be place side by side.
