A local school that offers
classes in Tae Kwon Do,
Eskrima & Jujitsu, the website
launched immediately
following a remodeling of
the school. The site went live
the evening of their grand
re-opening. They currently
get many new students each
month directly from their
website.
Each year I design a
Tournament Package that
includes a T-shirt graphic, a
tabloid-sized full-color poster,,
registration form, a black
& white graphic for printed
documents and web graphics
to promote this event.

Brief:
These designs were part of a 3year long marketing campaign
that involved large 23.5” x 35.5”
posters used in the school and
on sandwich boards outside
the school.
Smaller versions of these
images were also used in
advertisements in print and
online, which were used to
saturate the city.
These posters drew attention
to Fitness and Martial Arts
related programs and seminar
events, as well as finding use as
point-of-purchase displays for
training equipment and school
merchandise.

Brief:
Alternate Front Pocket Designs
(one for each style)
These designs were created
to match the styles of the
clients’s existing website. The
school T-shirts were printed
on several different colors, in
addition to black. The release
of these T-shirts coincided
with a grand re-opening
(following a remodeling of the
school). The school owner
said that they sold over $1000
in merchandise that weekend,
the T-shirts were a big hit.

Often times my work comes
last. At the beginning of 2007,
I was able to dedicate 50 hours
towards a new design for my
rather outdated portfolio.
This design is third generation
of my portfolio, and is far
more easily updated than
previous designs.
Like most of the sites I design
these days, I decided to take
advantage of the benefits of
Javascript, PHP Includes and
CSS.
Apparel

Cafe Press Designs
Brief:
Over the years, Cafe Press has
been a great source of residual
income. I create a new set
of designs every year, which
are then used on a variety of
apparel and other merchandise
and sold worldwide.
Since Cafe Press uses a direct
transfer printing method,
there are fewer restrictions
or requirements than with
silkscreening. This allows
me to work less in Illustrator
and more in Photoshop and
Painter, which can be a faster,
more imaginative process.
In addition to these designs, I
have worked on a number of
client’s Cafe Press storefronts.
Silhouettes
Brief:
In addition to working on
client projects, I also spend a
good deal of time producing
stock illustrations for stock
photo archives.
Here are some of the many
silhouettes that I’ve created for
use as royalty-free images on
Dreamstime.com.
Silhouettes make for excellent
stock imagery, as they are nonspecific (requiring no model
release), and also are easily
vectorized for use on graphics
that need to be silk-screened,
engraved, or scaled to a very
large size.

easier than you might think.
If you have a phone, an email
address and access to the
Internet, we can work together
to find a solution for your
project.
For overseas clients, PayPal
is the preferred method of
payment for projects. Currency
conversions are automatically
handled by the PayPal system,
and you don’t have to be a
member of PayPal to make a
credit card payment.
Upon completion of the
project, I typically set up a
custom payment page for
each client. Clients will receive
an estimate, an invoice and a
receipt for each transaction.
