a bank building dating back to 1925.
Located in the heart of Homewood’s
business district, La Banque offers its
guests amenities sought by the most
sophisticated travelers.
Every guest room is unique but all offer a level of comfort
to satisfy the most demanding guests.
FITNESS CENTER
La Banque could not claim to be upscale without an extensive
health club facility.
The fitness center, open 24 hours a day, set mostly in the
bank’s largest vault, is equipped to meet the needs of the most
demanding of fitness enthusiasts. It features a cardiovascular room,
a strength training room and a floor exercise room. The fitness
center offers a limited number of memberships to local residents.
LA VOÛTE, the hotel’s cozy dining room, was designed
around the bank’s main vault. Its massive door, signed
by the legendary FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, provides
a unique setting for the breakfast buffet or private dining.
The menu is a balance of French cuisine and American
favorites. True to our commitment to the environment
and to taste, emphasis is placed on serving food grown
or raised locally.
STAY AND PLAY GOLF
La Banque’s guests will be able to take advantage of the
common ownership of the hotel and Ravisloe Country Club.
For the second quarter of 2015, Ravisloe Country Club was
ranked, by Golf Advisor, the 20th best course in the country!
METRA AND AMTRAK CONNECTION
La Banque is located one half block from the train station served
by two commuter lines connecting Homewood to Chicago. A ride
to McCormick Place takes as little as 40 minutes, to Soldier Field,
38 minutes, and to Millennium Park, 44 minutes. Hotel guests
enjoy free parking! Stay at La Banque and take advantage of
everything Chicago offers without the high cost.
CONFERENCE ROOM
The 500 square foot conference room off the hotel’s lobby
offers high speed Wi-Fi, AV capabilities, 65-inch flat screen TV,
full catering service from La Voûte and a variety of table and
chair configurations.
CAR RENTAL
True to our commitment to cater to our guests’ every need,
cars are available for rental. We operate the service under the
company name Rent a U.S. Car, LLC. We pride ourselves in offering
fuel-efficient cars assembled in the U.S. by American companies.
THE GOLD BAR
The backdrop of the bar, featuring safety deposit boxes,
is a reminder of the history of the building. It is an intimate
venue for locals to socialize and hotel guests to learn
about Homewood and its residents.
