25th Congress of European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow was held in ICEC with 1460
participants from 4 5 countries and 55 exhibitors and sponsors. Invitees had a special tour at the Archeological
Museum before the Presidential dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet. Gala dinner was organized at the
unique place of Istanbul, 1001 Coloumn Cistern. Visitur worked with Torres Pardo as a DMC and a local PCO.
DLH (Deutsche Lufthansa AG) Group invited 240 agencies
to their relaxation night which was organized at
Maçka Cahide Cümbüş which is a very trendy cosy place
and they enjoyed with cabaret shows and draqueens.
44th Scientific Congress of Turkish Society
of Periodontology was held at the Sheraton Istanbul
Maslak Hotel with 440 participants and 22 exhibitors
and sponsors. Full Moon Bosphorus Boat Trip was
organised on the last night of the congress.
Libyan Foreign Bank Fatca Meeting which was hosted by A&T bank held in Point Hotel Barbaros
and A&T Bank & BSIC Bank General Assembly meeting was held in Park Bosphorus Hotel with
the participation of 45 delegates from different Arabian countries.

Department, was born in September and just 1,5
months old! We wish to all our little babies long lifes

Following successful openings in Nice, London and Dubai, La Petite Maison opens in Istanbul, Turkey, early this month. The venue is
located in the heart of the Turkish capital, in the chic, residential yet busy area of Nisantasi. The new location features exceptionally high
ceilings, a dedicated bar area as well as a 200 square metres landscaped terrace. Under the direction of general manager Olivier
Lavigne du Cadet, La Petite Maison, Istanbul will feature a menu reflecting the London and Dubai's restaurants offer, with a twist of local
Turkish flavours.
Rocca Restaurant in Raffless located on the entrance floor in newly opened hotel Raffless Istanbul. The Chef Ali Ronay 's exclusively
created menu at Rocca restaurant is an ode to the excellent service, the grandeur and the authentic flavors of Istanbul's old upscale
lokantası. In their newly developed ala carte menu, Ronay and his team reworked Turkish flavors according to their inquisitive palates
and aesthetic sensibilities.

Orientalism in Polish Art-exhibition

Hard Rock Café Istanbul is located at the old “Sponeck Birahanesi” building, where Turkey's first public film was screened in
1896, near the iconic Istiklal Street and live music neighborhood at the core of Istanbul. The multi-story Hard Rock Cafe Istanbul
includes a live music stage, 3 vibrant bars, cozy dining areas with more than 300 seats, a beautiful terrace, and private rooms
excellent for private events. The Cafe also includes upscale technology and design features that blend the heritage of the city with
the attitude and aesthetic of Hard Rock.
The works in the exhibition will cover a wide period from the 17th to the early 19thcenturies. Among others, the
exhibition will include drawings by Christian Kamsetzer of his Turkish travels, as well as oriental scenes by artists
like Żmurko and Brandt. The artworks will exemplify topics related to the Ottoman world, and to a lesser extent, the
Near East and North African regions.
RAW; A new night club in Karaköy opened at the end of October, and is sure to bring even more fun to the ever-growing Karaköy
nightlife scene. The club will host international DJs including Blond; ish, Robert Dietz, NTFO, and Alex Niggemann.

Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM), hosts a comprehensive exhibition consisting of the Catalan artist
and sculptor Joan Miró, born in Barcelona. This exhibition, titled 'Joan Miró. Women, Birds and Stars' focuses on the
maturity period of the groundbreaking and multi-faceted artist. . The exhibition focuses on woman, bird and star themes of
Miró, who was heavily inspired by his observations on the Mediterranean geography and people throughout his career. The
exhibition will provide the opportunity for viewers to understand the symbolic language of the artist through a rich selection of
artworks in different mediums such as oil on canvas, sculpture, lithography and ceramics.

MEVLANA JALALUDDIN RUMI (1207-1273)
Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi is a 13th century Muslim saint and Anatolian mystic known throughout the world for his exquisite poems and words of wisdom,
which have been translated into many languages. His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positivereasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through
love. To him all religions were more or less truth. Mevlana looked with the same eye on Muslim, Jew and Christian alike. His peaceful and tolerant teachings
have appealed to men of all sects and creeds. In 1958, Pope John XXIII wrote a special message saying: “In the name of the Catholic World, I bow with
respect before the memory of Rumi.”

Mevlana died on 17 December 1273 and was laid to rest beside his father in Konya, in present day Turkey. A splendid shrine, the Mevlana Mausoleum
was erected over their remains, which is now a museum and place of pilgrimage. Every year on that day, at this magnificient 13th century mausoleum
we celebrate Seb-i Arus, his 'Wedding Day', together with thousands of people from all around the world.
Wyndham Grand Istanbul
The fascinating dance of the Whirling Dervishes symbolizes the worship ceremony representing the union with God. The Dervishes wear long white robes
and tall conical red hats representing their tombstones, as they relinquish the earthly life to be reborn in mystical union with God. They start to whirl; by
holding their right arm up, palm upwards they receive the blessings of Heaven and communicate them to Earth by holding their left arm down, pal
downwards: “From God we receive to man we give”.
The Galata Mevlevihanesi, or tekke, is a undoubtedly the most famous Mevlevi Whirling Dervish hall. It is located on Galipdede Caddesi, not far from Tünel
at the end of Istiklal Caddesi. Also called the Galata Lodge, the first and only original dervish hall in the city.
A Province of Turkey in Central Anatolia – Konya
Konya province where numerous cultures blend and take on a new meaning is also well known for the popularity of its festivals organized through the year. The world famous
Seb-i Arus Ceremonies are held on December 7 – 17 every year to commemorate Mevlana and the anniversary of his death. The event is followed with great interest and

names of Turkish literature and to expand and promote his witticism and funny stories through the world. Organized in July every year, the festival offers a rich program
Konya is a city in Central Anatolia in Turkey which has protected its name for centuries. Legend says that Perseus
killed a dragon that had been ravaging the town. The people set up a special monument to honor him, a stone
obelisk with an icon of Perseus carved in it. This event gave the city it's name, Ikonyon, Ikonyum, Iconium.
The hometown of the major names of Turkish culture and literature Mevlana and Nasreddin Hodja, Konya is a
