Animal detection Collision mitigation for animals is a world first that detects and automatically brakes for animals both in daylight and in the dark. Run-off road mitigation A new function is introduced with the S90 to prevent unintentional road departure at vechicle speeds between 65-140 km/h. The system works by using evasive steering manoeuvres and braking to support the driver in keeping the car on the road.
