Alanya Gazipasa International Airport (GZP) is the secondary airport of the
city of Antalya, which welcomed about 10.5 million visitors in 2012. 24% of
Antalya’s visitors have actually vacationed in Alanya, 135 kms to the east of the
city center of Antalya.
Due to the remote location of the existing Antalya Airport to major touristic
centers in Alanya, the development and operation of the new Alanya Gazipasa
International Airport became inevitable.

AIRPORT
Alanya Gazipasa Airport (GZP) welcomed 84 thousand passengers in 2012
where it had served 15 thousand the year before. SAS, Transavia, Tailwind
and Corendon Airlines operated to GZP from Oslo, Amsterdam, Brussels,
Copenhagen and Billund. In addition, Pegasus Airlines connects GZP to
Istanbul (SAW) with 4 times weekly domestic flights.
The route network of GZP is expected to expand further in 2013 with the
addition of new airline companies expected to operate to GZP. With the
infrastructural enhancements at the airport, a wider range of aircrafts
including B737-800s are now capable to operate GZP flights.

enjoy the smooth operations at a totally new airport, equipped with the latest
technology. We can proudly speak of a 30 min turnaround time for a typical
A-319.
The runway has been extended to 2,000 m and the apron area is expanded.
The curfew is lifted and GZP became operational 24/7.
