of 67 steps of craftsmanship in 38 days, the wheel is formed from many layers of
thinly cut wood, bonded together, meticulously shaped and buffed to align with the
look of the wood on the instrument panel.

Using technology that includes an infrared rear-passenger sensor, the available
Climate Concierge automatically monitors the temperature of four separate climate
zones and adjusts not just the ventilation system, including the rear overhead ducts,
but also the temperature of the front and rear seats and steering wheel individually.
As a result, each passenger achieves their own desired level of personalized
comfort as quickly as possible. All with the simple push of a button.

and your driving style, available Adaptive Variable
Air Suspension automatically adjusts the airspring rate and shock absorber damping force to

ADVANCED PRE-COLLISION
SYSTEM
Among the many ways the LS is ahead of its time,
the available Advanced Pre-Collision System16
is engineered to detect an imminent frontal
collision and, while retracting the front seatbelts,
automatically helps to provide increased
braking pressure the moment you step on the
brake pedal. It’s also designed to detect threedimensional objects in the vehicle’s path, and
it can apply the brakes to help reduce vehicle
speed and bring the vehicle to a complete stop
at speeds up to 24 mph.

BLIND SPOT MONITOR
To help you change lanes with confidence, the
available Blind Spot Monitor17 is designed
to detect and warn you of vehicles approaching
or positioned in the adjacent lanes. And
when you’re backing out of a parking spot, the
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert18 is designed to
notify you of approaching vehicles that might
be out of camera view.
LANE KEEP ASSIST
Available Lane Keep Assist19 uses a camera to
monitor visible lane markings. Should you ever
begin to drift, the system is so advanced that
it warns you and takes corrective measures to
help steer you back into your lane.
DRIVER ATTENTION MONITOR
Included with the available Pre-Collision System,16
the Driver Attention Monitor16 is designed to
detect if you have your eyes closed or are facing
away from the road when an obstacle is detected
ahead. If the system determines either condition
is met, it will attempt to warn you, and to help
you avoid a potential collision, it’s designed to
automatically begin braking before impact.

vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key/fob matches the code in the vehicle’s immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded
in the key/fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or fob, your Lexus dealer can help. Alternatively, you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high-security

Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always
wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use
a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. See Owner’s Manual for further information/warnings. 31. Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute
for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether VDIM will be effective in preventing a loss of control. See
