How do you engineer a vehicle that delivers
radical performance matched only by its radical
design? Start from the ground up. Even if it means
rethinking the entire production process. Which,
in order to realize the RC designers’ bold vision
of dynamic contours that flow seamlessly from
one shape to the next, is exactly what Lexus did.
Even the design of the new turbocharged engine
wasn’t left to chance. Unlike some automakers,
Lexus didn’t outsource the development of
its turbocharger. Painstakingly researched
and engineered by Lexus until it met rigorous
standards for performance, the first-ever
RC 200t offers breathtaking proof that good
things come to those who wait.

lines found on the outside of the RC or the profound
strength delivered by its gigantic side sills and A-frame

The Lexus Enform Remote 8 mobile app can
remotely start the engine, lock and unlock doors,
check the status of doors and windows as well as
your fuel level, and can help find your vehicle’s
location in a parking lot. And, should you loan
your Lexus to another driver, you can receive
instant alerts if, for example, a preset speed or
mile limit is exceeded.

Equal parts functionality and form, the available
Remote Touchpad12 is more than a way to access
multimedia and climate controls. Offering ample
touch surface area, pulsation feedback and intuitive
operation via pinch, swipe and flick gestures just
like your smartphone, the touchpad found in the
RC offers innovation at your fingertips.
3-D NAVIGATION
This voice-activated system9 can map millions
of points of interest across the country and
can display information in English, French and
Spanish. And, in addition to offering up-to-date
traffic and weather information,13 3-D city views,
and simulated views of approaching highway
junctions, it displays the current speed limit and
can automatically identify nearby gas stations if
you begin to run low on fuel.

VOICE RECOGNITION
As responsive inside as it is on the road, advanced
voice command enables you to place compatible
Bluetooth®15 -enabled phone calls and operate
climate, audio and navigation functions using normal,
everyday speech. If you say “It’s too hot in here,” for
example, the climate control will automatically lower
the temperature by four degrees. With Enhanced
Bluetooth technology,15 compatible Bluetooth15
mobile-phone address-book contacts can be viewed
and accessed on the Navigation System9 display or
via voice command.

PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM
The available Pre-Collision System16 is engineered
to detect an imminent frontal collision and, while
retracting the front seatbelts, automatically
prepares Brake Assist17 for increased braking
response, and is even designed to automatically
begin braking before impact.
ADVANCED BLIND SPOT MONITOR
The available advanced Blind Spot Monitor18
in the RC not only alerts you when it detects
vehicles approaching from behind, but it is also
capable of doing so for vehicles approaching at
greater distances. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert19 can
help provide peace of mind when backing out
of a parking space by notifying you of vehicles
approaching from either side.
BACKUP CAMERA WITH GRIDLINES
When you place the RC into reverse, the view from
the backup camera20 is displayed on the multimedia
display in full color with dynamic gridlines to assist
you with parking and other maneuvers.
DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL
To help you maintain a preset distance from the
vehicle ahead, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control21
uses radar technology to sense the speed of vehicles
in front of you. If your RC gets too close to the vehicle
ahead, the throttle is automatically reduced and
the brakes are applied. As soon as the road ahead
clears, the RC returns to its preset speed.

Throw caution to the wind. Or the rain. With
the brilliantly engineered all-wheel drive system
on the RC 300 and RC 350 AWD, you can
experience control in most driving conditions.
By monitoring current conditions, the system
automatically distributes engine power between

and steering angle, the Dynamic Rear Steering
system can adjust the angle of the rear wheels

OF COLOR
One unexpected moment of inspiration, years of development and zero shortcuts. This is the art of creating art. The culmination of a
passion for design and industry-leading knowledge, every Lexus color features stories and processes as unique as their hues. Take the
Eminent White Pearl. Brilliant in the sun and muted in the shade, it was inspired by and created specifically to mimic the color and
appearance of snow on the hills of Hokkaido, Japan. It’s an effect not left to chance, which is why Lexus sources pigment from a company
in Osaka—one that’s been perfecting its craft for 98 years and counting. It’s also why every Lexus painting facility features indoor
waterfalls to trap and wash airborne dust particles away so they don’t inconspicuously mar the vehicle’s finish. Even science plays a role.
Lexus created a technique that more uniformly aligns the angles of the reflective particles in paint to better accentuate the vehicle lines.
Then mapped the motions of arguably the most gifted automotive painter in the world in order to have robots duplicate his craft on every
Lexus vehicle. Because the only thing more important than creating a stunning work of art is making sure each is as stunning as the last.

backup camera does not provide a comprehensive view of the rear area of the vehicle. You should also look around outside your vehicle and
use your mirrors to confirm rearward clearance. Cold weather may limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy. 21. Dynamic Radar
Cruise Control is designed to assist the driver and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving practices. See Owner’s Manual for details. 22. High-friction brakes require periodic inspection and measurement as outlined in the Warranty and Services Guide. The pads and rotors
are expected to experience greater wear than conventional brakes. Pad life may be less than 20,000 miles, and brake rotor life may be less
than 50,000 miles depending on driving conditions. F SPORT models may feature Brembo® brakes. It is an inherent characteristic of
materials and design of brake pads used in this high-performance brake system that brake noise/squeal may result. 23. 2016 EPA-estimated
ratings. Actual mileage will vary. 24. The SmartAccess system may interfere with some pacemakers or cardiac defibrillators. If you have one
of these medical devices, please talk to your doctor to see if you should deactivate this system. 25. The engine immobilizer is a state-of-theart anti-theft system. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or bring a SmartAccess fob into the vehicle, the key transmits an
electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key/fob matches the code in the vehicle’s
immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key/fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or fob, your Lexus dealer
can help. Alternatively, you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high-security key services by consulting your local Yellow
Pages or by contacting www.aloa.org. 26. Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) is an electronic system designed to help the
driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions
and driver steering input can all affect whether VDIM will be effective in preventing a loss of control. See Owner’s Manual for further details. 27. All the airbag (AB) systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to inflate only under certain conditions
and in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions;
Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of
injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door.
Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force
of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. See Owner’s Manual for further information/warnings. 28. Do not rely exclusively on
the Intuitive Parking Assist system. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm clearance. System effectiveness depends

are warranted for 12 months from the date of installation or for the balance of the new-car or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty in force

than an authorized Lexus dealer are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase only, and the warranty coverage is limited to the
replacement value of the F SPORT Accessories. These warranties do not cover maintenance services such as replacement of brake pads/
linings and clutch linings or noise, vibration, cosmetic conditions and other deterioration caused by normal wear and tear. Part failure caused
by improper installation by anyone other than an authorized Lexus dealer may void the F SPORT Accessories warranty, the new-vehicle
