Hello Everyone! Lynda Parsons here with an invitation to the 2014 Swan Valley Credit Union
Talent Stage! The level of talent that continues to find it’s way to our event is fantastic and I am
very excited to see the best amateur Country Music Talent perform on our 2014 Talent Stage.
This year’s Talent Stage runs July 25, 26 & 27, 2014 and as always will be held at the Northwest
Roundup and Exhibition in the Centennial Arena, Swan River, MB.
The event is free for participants and you are provided with a daily gate pass for admittance into
the 2014 Northwest Roundup and Exhibition. Upon confirmation of your participation in this year’s
event, your gate voucher will be waiting for you at the rodeo main gate (9th Avenue North), which
you can then redeem for your Exhibition pass bracelet.
The top six finalists perform on Sunday, July 27th in the Centennial Arena. We are very excited
to announce that we will continue to offer cash prizes of $4,000, courtesy of Manitoba’s Parkland
Area Credit Unions and Swan Valley Credit Union. All 6 finalists will receive $500 each and the
winner will receive an additional $1,000 cash.
Got talent and you’re interested? Contestants must participate in one of the three talent stage
events on Friday or Saturday.

upon arrival at the talent stage, listing the performers and the order you will perform. The times
indicated are start times for the stage, not your actual performance time. If you have questions,

Contestants must be 10 years of age or older to participate. Any contestant between the ages of 10 and 17 must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All contestants must sign a performance waiver prior to participating.
Please note: If you are under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian will be required to sign this waiver on your behalf.
GX94 will provide a tape player and quality sound system with jack bar and a technician. If you
require a tape/CD it must be music only (background harmonies will be accepted, but no lead vocals) and
if a tape, preset to your song. For best results, ensure the tape/CD is of high quality. If you have an instrument/equipment, GX94 will provide plug ins. Please insure that you indicate your plug in requirements if
bringing a musical instrument. All contestants are required to sing 2 songs during their set.
