4th of july RUN FOR THE BIRDS | July 4
Choose from a completive run or a “just for fun” run to kick off the month of July and a portion
of your proceeds will benefit the Sunriver Nature Center. Take a moment to visit with a naturalist

perfect place to saddle up for adventure. Guided trail rides are available for guests of
all experience levels, from beginner to advanced riders. Instruction is provided prior
to all rides, and riding helmets are available. Minimum age for half-hour and onehour trail rides is 7. Longer rides, minimum age 10.

The Cove at Sunriver REsort *NEW IN 2015!*
Welcome to our brand new pool complex! The Cove is located adjacent to the Lodge
Village Guestrooms. Entrance requires a Sunriver Resort room key.
At The Cove you will find a giant zero- entry pool and hot tub, private cabanas, a
Paulina Plunge style waterslide, nature discovery area, lakeside trails and a spacious
deck and lawn. The Cove blends outdoor recreation with comfort and family fun!
The Spotted Frog at The Cove serves poolside beverages and fare. The cafe’s name is
a nod to the endangered Oregon Spotted Frog, who has a protected habitat at The
Cove’s nature discovery area.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP:
Sack lunch: We will provide drinks and snacks but ask that you bring a personalized lunch
for each child attending a full-day program. Staying with us at the Resort? Show us your
guest ID card, and we can provide a lunch for your child.
Appropriate footwear: Please DO NOT send your child to camp in sandals. We play games
that involve running, and we go on outdoor adventures that require active
footwear.
Raingear and warm clothing: Please dress your child appropriately or send extra
clothing with them in case of inclement weather.
Sunscreen: We do have some sunscreen on hand, but we ask that you put it on your child
prior to camp to help protect your children from harmful UV rays.

Don’t have enough time to do it all in Sunriver? That is exactly why we built a condensed half-day
version of our all-day ropes course program.

be charged. Meet in the parking lot of the Sunriver Stables. Children must be at least 10 years of
age, and children between 10-12 years must have one participating adult. Adult signature required

You don’t have to be Picasso to Paint Your Own Pottery. It’s fun, relaxing and easy! Start by
picking out a piece of pottery; then choose your colors, decide on a design, and we will fire your

Using flashing golf balls and neon holes, try your luck on our 9-hole putting course. Show

putting course is separate from the fee of this program.
S’mores under the Stars

Join us for our favorite evening treat as we gather around the fire pit. Our staff will bring all

Quidditch 101 for Muggles

This new program allows you to the world of everyone’s favorite wizard for a real life game of Quidditch! Play in teams of eight in
one of the four positions in Quidditch: Chaser, Beater, Keeper, or the Seeker. Make sure to keep an eye out for the golden snitch (one
participant dressed up in yellow) running around the pitch (Besson Commons). The seeker that catches the golden snitch wins their
team 30 points and ends the game! Multiple games of Quidditch will be played during each age group to allow for everyone to play the
various positions.
