The GedankenGebäude is one of Germany’s most advanced convention
centres. Designed by Milan-based design guru Michele de Lucchi in 1996,
and with a gross floor area of 6460 ft² (600 m²), the building is the
perfect venue for events ranging from small workshops and seminars to
corporate events on a large scale. De Lucchi’s design features vast glass
facades and generous patios enabling an unspoilt view of the surrounding countryside. All meeting rooms are lit by natural daylight and can be
individually adjusted in size thanks to mobile room partition walls. No big
surprise there: after all, de Lucchi is renowned for his innovative creations
when it comes to illuminated objects and lighting solutions which have
won him the IR Design Award multiple times.
