The project required the transformation
of an existing office area into
two inspiring rooms for creative
brainstorming sessions and team
meetings, completely separate from the
normal work environment. The rooms
required maximum flexibility, ample
space for creative notes, and all within a
tight budget.
Flexibility and individuality were at the
core of the design concept, so that any
passers-by would immediately notice the
distinction from the surrounding office
area, through the creation of a small hub
inside a large office to allow ideas the
space to flow.
Two uniquely shaped rooms were
created within the existing perimeter
walls. Colourful lines connect the interior
with the exterior, starting on the doors,
wrapping the walls, flowing up to the
glazing and back to the floor, before
crossing over and ultimately defining
the spaces. Walls and glazing are used
as writing space, creating the ultimate
flexible and creative area. Modular tables
can be configured to allow for small
brainstorming sessions as well as large
team meetings. Colour splashes on a
neutral background inject an element
of play into the existing corporate office
environment.
