The International Forum of Entrepreneurs (FIE) is an impactful educational program
organized by Junior Achievement Córdoba. Each year FIE attracts hundreds of
young people from over 16 countries who are able to develop the values, approach,
and tools necessary to improve their community and promote positive societal
change.

Junior Achievement Córdoba is a part of the foundation Junior Achievement, a non-Profit
organization present in more than 120 countries, whose mission is to encourage and inspire
young people to develop entrepreneurial goals and strive to achieve them within a
framework of responsibility and freedom.

The 2016 edition of the International Forum of Entrepreneurs (FIE) will take
place May 9th to 14th.
FIE will take place in the mountain town of Tanti, province Córdoba,
Argentina on the grounds of Colonia de Vacaciones del Personal del Banco
de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, about 60 km from the city of Córdoba.
Youth, 16 and 23 years old, from around the world. Business skills and
previous participation in other Junior Achievement events are not required.

During these lectures you will have the chance to meet successful leaders who are
recognized globally and regionally for their achievements, values and performance
in different areas such as culture, sport, economy, society and entrepreneurship. At
FIE, these entrepreneurs will share their thoughts, visions and experience in life and
leadership with you.
More than 20 regional leaders are invited to work individually with every group at
FIE. These people were selected specially for being great examples of successful
entrepreneurs in different areas: cultural, social, entrepreneurial, sports, artistic, etc.
They will share their experiences with you, give you their history and explain how
they made their dreams come true. These are not technical lectures; they are real
life stories!

These dynamic workshops will strengthen your way of thinking and show you some
tools that will be useful in your personal and professional future, combining theory
and practice. The activities will allow you to develop tools and skills necessary to
work on a team. They are educational meetings where the specialists interact with
the audience, focusing on the “know-how,” that is the practical application of
knowledge.
These dynamic lectures will be given by experts in the most diverse fields, in order
that you may learn and then internalize based on your own interests. Every expert
prepares different personal and professional topics from his own career. Through
these stories you will get important advice on decisions relating to your future
education or career path.

The Entrepreneur
of FIE
Talent Show
This is the most important competition at FIE. It will take place during the entire
week and with all participants involved. It contains several challenges that you
will face in groups or as an individual. At the end of the week there will be a final
where the ultimate winner will be appointed as the Entrepreneur of FIE.
In this competition the participants will have the chance to demonstrate their
talents. It will be an open contest that begins with a casting to select the best
numbers to bring their magic and spirit to the most important event at FIE: the
Evening Gala.

yourself
Within FIE there will be an exposition for “The Companies,” those of the same name
formed under the Educational Program of Junior Achievement. At the forum the best
enterprises will be presented by the participating delegates. Here they will present
their products, marketing and production strategies and other inherent tasks related
to the management of the venture.
Each participant at FIE, along with his or her roommates, must submit two persuasive
essays where they describe their point of view, opinions and positions with respect to
a randomly selected topic. Therefore you can learn how to effectively deal with the
controversy that can arise while working with people of different backgrounds. During
this work you will put into practice the values of tolerance, diversity and respect. It is
also a great opportunity to improve skills such as oral and written expression,
imagination and reasoning.
Around the World
in One Night
International
Breakfast
This is the perfect chance to travel to the home country of all the delegates
for a little insight into their lives. At this exhibition the groups have the
opportunity to represent their own country by special traditions, culture,
food, typical clothing and other interesting information.
For this breakfast all the delegates prepare food typical of their country or
region. This offers you a culinary taste of the world before the day has begun.
Chipá from Paraguay, Chicharrones with cold sweet potatoes and spicy
onions from Peru, Patacones from Ecador, Queques from Chile and, of
course, the Argentinean dulce de leche are just some of the dishes which will
certainly be present at this event.
RECREATION ACTIVITIES
FIE NIGHTS
At the end of every working day at FIE there will be time for the participants to
enjoy their new friends. The thematic events at the forum are perfect for this. After
dinner, international music takes over the night, creating an amusing and casual
atmosphere. The traditional events at FIE are as follows: Tradition Night, Night of
Peace, Surprise Party and the Evening Gala.
RECREATION
TIME
Between the 60+ organized activities, there will be enough free time to catch up on
what you experienced that day or simply share a moment in a more informal setting
to strengthen new friendships.
outreach activity
Social responsibility, solidarity and entrepreneurship are the values that will be developed
during your week at FIE. The joint activities implement this knowledge in various productions
that are intended for the local community. It’s a great opportunity to develop solidarity and
make a life project that is socially sustainable.
