The races themselves start at 9.30am on the Sunday morning with any wheelchair competitors going off five minutes before. The half marathon (and first lap of two for the full marathon) takes runners through the town centre of Mablethorpe before they find themselves in the contrasting scenery of the countryside which leads them into Trusthorpe. The lap is completed as competitors enter Sutton on Sea for the unique run along the promenade that takes them back to the college. The second part of the marathon differs from the first by using a longer route through the streets of Sutton. Whether you come to run or to watch, there will be a great day waiting for you. There is ample car parking on site or nearby. Food, drinks and ice cream are readily available and there are ample opportunities for photographs around the course or at the start/ finish.
