• Weather: at times the weather in the tropics can
be unpredictable. We will provide an updated
weather report before departure and discuss in
detail with you the scheduled plan for the day
• Wind and visibility: on occasions we operate
to different destinations to provide the most
enjoyable day possible. These options will be
explained prior to departure
Booking Conditions & Cancellation Policy:
All tours are subject to minimum numbers and to weather conditions and so may be cancelled at the
discretion of the operator. We also reserve the right to alter the destination pending the weather for
your safety and comfort. Times may also need to be changed due to tidal changes. The company will
offer alternative days or refunds in the event of cancellations. We reserve the right to use other vessels
should Reef Explorer be unavailable for any reason. If you cancel the day prior before 5.00pm there is
no charge. Cancel after 5pm the day prior 50% fee. Cancel the day of the cruise or no show 100% fee.

This half-day adventure takes you to selected locations at the
best fringing reef areas in the northern section of the Whitsunday
Islands. Cruising within the protection of the Whitsunday
Passage we generally visit the northern side of Hook Island to
a picturesque range of secluded bays including Manta Ray Bay,
Luncheon Bay and Maureen’s Cove.
As an accredited PADI resort store we cater for both certified and
introductory divers on our custom designed dive vessel, Reef
Explorer. The Whitsunday Islands fringing reef locations include a
combination of hard and soft fringing reef corals and diverse fish
life found at depths from 10m through to 18m. Your tour includes:
• 1 hours cruising each way on our custom designed dive and snorkel
vessel Reef Explorer and total duration of tour is approximately 4 hours
• Light lunch comprising of build your own wraps and rolls from a fresh
salad selection long with sliced leg ham & roast beef. Morning or
afternoon tea is also provided pending time of the cruise.
• In water assistance and guidance from our experienced Divemasters
and snorkel guides For a safer more personalised experience our experienced dive
crew guide all divers whether certified or introductory.

• Explore is a PADI certified resort dive centre
• Medical clearance will apply to all divers as per Queensland Dive Legislation
• Use of high quality Mares snorkelling equipment, as well as wetsuits
and stinger suits pending time of year
• For introductory divers there is no experience necessary, all training will
be facilitated on the dive vessel and includes PADI certified resort dive
instruction. PADI medical documentation must be completed prior to ensure
you are clear to dive
• Informative commentary from your skipper and crew regarding the
Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef
• All certified divers must produce certification card and dive history prior to diving
