Spring State Championships and Invitational 2005
A great weekend! Many thanks
to the state administrative committee for their tireless efforts
between coaching and working Glynn Hankins - decorations;
Ellie Counseller - timing;
Richelle Gray - equipment coordinator; Mary Thacker - premeet paper work; Tamara
Collins - equipment set-up;
Mabel Miller - equipment and
awards; Dawn Messer - equipment and awards ; Cindy Wallace - equipment. Thank you to
coaches - Emily Mayer, Sandy
Lay, Fico Gonzalez, Mario Gonzalez, Teri Jenkins, Vicki Jenkins
for helping with equipment setup and tear down. And of
course Eddie Jenkins who is
there from beginning to end to
help do anything that needs to
be done. This meet cannot happen at an off-site facility without
ALL gyms providing manpower
to run this meet. And, last but
not least, the Madison County
Gymnastics Parent’s Club. You
are the best!
What You Get From the State Office and What you Need to Order
“What do you
need to order
from USAG?”
The Book will again be on CD
this year. The calendar and the
Quick Fix card will be a hard
copy. These materials will be
mailed in August.
What do you need to order from
USAG? Those attending one of
the master compulsory work-
shops will receive the compulsory book. The new compulsory music is not included.
The JO Code of Points will be
available for you to order. Rules
and Policies will be available on
line. Please be aware that
none of the materials nor
music is available
Prep Op Program
Start it, change it, do it again,
change it again. Any new program has to be started and fixed
several times until it is right.
And then, it still isn’t right.
Please bring your ideas,
thoughts, and concerns to the
state clinic. As per the schedule,
time has been allotted for those
who participate and those who
would like to participate in the
prep op program to voice their
ideas, questions, etc. Ideas:
Fourth level, less bonus, restrictions on particip0ants according
to levels competed….. Input
needed and appreciated!
