Turkey Trot
Skill Evaluation
Girls classes have begun practicing
specific skills in class on all events.
At the end of November during
your daughter’s class, they will be
evaluated on specific skills, which
her coach determines.
Gymnasts will receive a ribbon
designating their performance on
each event.

CONGRATULATIONS to our TOPS National Qualifiers
TOPs (Talent Opportunity Program), is a talent search and educational program for female gymnasts
ages 7-10. During the months of June and July, Parkette team members were evaluated on physical
abilities and basic gymnastics skills. 5 of our Parkette team members qualified for the National TOPs
test in Houston, TX. Gabby Borgos, Caroline Connelly, Hailey Bender, Lucy Tobia & Hayden Taylor
traveled to Houston, TX on October 2 to again be evaluated on physical abilities and more advanced
gymnastics skills. Also Justyce McCristian and Gabby Loeb made the 7 year old Diamond TOPS team.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR QUALIFIERS!!
The Haunted Halloween sleepover will be held on October 24 @ 7:00pm – October 25 @
8:00am. Girls ages 6 & UP are invited to participate in open gym time, a costume parade with
prizes, flashlight games, scavenger hunt and MUCH more! There will also be pizza & bug
juice. If your child is not ready to spend the night, they can still participate in the activities
until 11:30pm. Don’t forget to register a friend for a night of fun at the Parkette Gym!
PKI & BBI
In 2016, we are proud to be hosting our 42nd annual Parkette
Invitational & 17th annual Brian Babcock Invitational.
This prestigious competition welcomes gymnasts from across the
United States, Canada & abroad. During the weekends of
January 22nd &
January 29th,
gymnasts come to compete for the PKI & BBI Title. Mark
your calendar & come watch some of the TOP gymnasts in
the country compete!

Parkette Satellite Program
Parkettes currently travels to numerous preschools
and daycares in the Lehigh Valley introducing
gymnastics to young children. If this program is of
interest to you, inquire with your Childcare
Center's director about Parkettes being a part of
their curriculum.

The Parkette
enrichment
program is designed to provide
Some of our FUN, safe, supervised
gymnastics activities built into your child's
birthday party will include:

Unique indoor play station

Bounce house
·
Rock climbing wall
·
Tarzan swing & Pirate ship
We provide the fun and even clean up the
mess! You just provide the snacks! Prices
include 1 hour of gymnastics, a ½ hour of
table time, a FREE t-shirt for the party child,
plastic table covering, goodie bags, and
tables and chairs for the party guests. You
may also make a request to have your child's
favorite instructor lead their birthday party!
