2015 PARADE MARSHALS
Tony and Linda Cure
This year’s Paragon Homecoming
parade marshals are Tony and Linda
Cure
Tony spent his childhood in Martinsville. Graduating from Martinsville
High School in 1961. Attended Purdue University majoring in Interior
Design. Worked with his family at
Cure and Son furniture in downtown
Martinsville for 20 years. Moved to
Paragon in 1987 and shortly thereafter became active in the Paragon
Fire Company and the Paragon
Homecoming Committee. He was a
member of the Citizens For A Better
Paragon from start to finish.
Linda's family moved to Whitaker in the summer prior to her
starting the sixth grade at the old school. The following summer she
entered the Homecoming Royalty Contest. Thru the years she has
served as a member of the Paragon Homecoming Committee in
many different capacities. She was a member of the Citizens For A
Better Paragon from start to finish. As a couple they continued to
decorate the Jim Young Park for Christmas each year until the
Homecoming Committee took over the task.
Through the years Tony and Linda have spent much of their time
serving the town of Paragon and it’s citizens. We are proud to have
them represent Paragon as this year’s parade marshals.
