Born during Laconia Bike Week 2005, it seemed almost inevitable that I
would develop a love for motorcycles. When I was just a few months
old, my Papa would sit me on his Harley with him in the driveway and
together we would rev the engine. It wasn't long after that, he would take
me for rides around the driveway. Then when I was 4 he bought a
harness that attached to him and I and we hit the road! It seems my
Grammy and Papa created a monster! For Christmas 2008, my mom
and step-dad decided to buy me a Polaris Sportsman 90 so that we
could all trail ride together....the first words out of my mouth when I saw
my Christmas present was; "Where is my dirt bike?" That wasn't exactly
the reaction they had envisioned! They taught me how to ride it...I loved
doing donuts! The following December, I asked them to sell the fourwheeler and buy me a dirt bike. After about a month, they gave in and
surprised me with my first dirt bike; a 2003 Honda XR 50. I rode it for the
first time in March of 2010, it came very natural to me. My first race was
May 1st in Winchendon, MA. I cannot tell you how excited I was to have
finished in First Place for my very first race! I rode the Honda for about
another month and then asked for a KTM 50 like some of the other kids
had. So….we sold my Honda and upgrade to a KTM 50. Finally, I had a
bike I loved! From there, I moved onto a 2005 KX 65 and currently, I
race a 2005 Honda CR 85.
In 2010, I began attending American Supercamp, training with the best! Initially, attended the camps once a year, travelling to Colorado and now
I attend twice a year, once in the Spring and then again in the Fall in Delaware. This past April, I was asked to be a guest instructor. It was quite
an honor and I gladly accepted. It is amazing how much you can learn about yourself when you are teaching others.
