Additionally, the Franklin Templeton Shootout is devoted to charity. Greg is a trustee of CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, the principal benefactor of the tournament. Generally acknowledged as one of the best on the PGA TOUR, the Franklin Templeton Shootout Pro-Am is exceptional because it takes place over two days, allowing amateurs to play with a different PGA TOUR professional each day. Unlike a typical TOUR event, at the Franklin Templeton Shootout the professionals attend all functions, which enhances the experience and allows unprecedented access to the world’s top golfers. Over the years sports and entertainment luminaries such as Matt Lauer, David Feherty, Jim Nantz, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Hicks, Brian Kilmeade and Chris Berman have emceed the Pro-Am functions.
