Le falesie di seguito elencate sono state attrezzate su
incarico delle Amministrazioni Pubbliche e vengono
periodicamente controllate: fanno infatti parte dell’Outdoor
Park Garda Trentino, un progetto nato per rendere il territorio
a misura di sportivo. È necessario in ogni caso verificare lo
stato delle attrezzature a dimora.
Die nachstehend aufgeführten Klettergärten wurden im
Auftrag der öffentlichen Verwaltungen ausgebaut und
werden regelmäßig kontrolliert. Sie gehören zum Outdoor
Park Garda Trentino, einem Projekt mit dem Ziel, ein
sportlergerechtes Gebiet auszubauen. Es wird geraten, die
Strecken vor Ort zu überprüfen.

These crags belong to the “Outdoor Park Garda Trentino”,

sempre verificarsi cadute di pietre.

Per diversamente abili: accesso consentito dalla strada Padaro-San Giovanni,
imboccare strada poderale a destra in località Murlo (strada sterrata e di
limitata pendenza, cordone guida e mappa tattile, chiodatura ravvicinata) coordinate 45° 55.627 N / 010° 51.733 E - e proseguire fino al parcheggio ai piedi
della falesia: fare attenzione tratti a forte pendenza e carreggiata ristretta.
Zustieg: zu Fuß von Chiarano aus (15/20 min.). Behinderten ist der Zugang von
der Straße Padaro-San Giovanni gestattet, vom Privatweg rechts in Murlo
(Schotterstraße mit geringem Gefälle, Führungsseil und Braillekarten, dicht
beieinanderliegende Haken) - Koordinaten: 45° 55.627 N / 10° 51.733 O - und
dann weiter bis zum Parkplatz zu Füßen des Klettergartens. Achtung: Weg mit
hohem Neigungsgrad und engen Passagen.
Access: by foot from the town of Chiarano (15/20 min.). For people with
disabilities access permitted from Padaro-San Giovanni road, take farm road
on right in Murlo (dirt road with limited slope, guide rope and tactile map, bolts

Prima falesia senza barriere al mondo: attrezzata con
mappa tattile, permette anche ai non vedenti di apprezzare
lo sviluppo dei 6 itinerari di arrampicata, il numero e il tipo
di anelli di sicurezza, nonché la difficoltà.
Alla base della parete una targhetta Braille fornisce
informazioni sui percorsi. Un parcheggio riservato ai
soli disabili, un nuovo itinerario di avvicinamento - a
fondo liscio e con manovia - rendono facile l’accesso;
a completare l’area, innovativi tavoli e panchine adatti
alle carrozzine e servizi igienici per portatori di disabilità.
Inaugurata nel 2011 dagli atleti del primo mondiale
Paraclimbing.

fürs Paraclimbing
Es ist der erste Klettergarten ohne Grenzen in der Welt: Eine
Karte in Brailleschrift erlaubt es auch Blinden, den Verlauf
der 6 Kletterrouten, Zahl und Art der Sicherungsringe sowie
den Schwierigkeitsgrad einzuschätzen.
Am Fuß der Wand gibt es ein Schild in Brailleschrift mit
Informationen über die Routen. Ein Parkplatz nur für
Behinderte und ein neuer Zugangsweg - auf ebenem
Untergrund und mit Handlauf - erleichtern den Zugang.
Zusätzlich dazu stehen neue Tische und Bänke, die für
Rollstühle geeignet sind, sowie sanitäre Anlagen zur
Verfügung. Die Einweihung erfolgte 2011 durch die
Athleten der 1. Weltmeisterschaft im Paraclimbing.

The first no frontiers climbing wall in the world: equipped
with a tactile map, so that also blind or visually impaired
can understand the development of 6 climbing routes, the
number and type of bolts, as well as the level of difficulty.
A Braille plaque at the base of the wall provides information
on the routes. In order to provide an easier access to the area,
there is a car park exclusively reserved for disabled and a
new approach route with smooth road surface and handdrag. Finally, the area is fitted out with innovative tables and
benches designed to accommodate wheelchairs as well as
bathroom facilities for disabled. It was inaugurated in 2011 by
the competitors in the first World Paraclimbing Championship.

San Martino
Una nuova falesia attrezzata a cura del Comune di Arco
arricchirà nei prossimi mesi l’Outdoor Park Garda Trentino.
A poche centinaia di metri dalla mitica falesia del Policromuro,
nell’oliveto di San Martino, raggiungibile da Arco in poche
decine di minuti di passeggiata, sorgerà una falesia
completamente dedicata alle famiglie e ai più piccoli.
La Falesia Family di San Martino racchiude tutti gli ingredienti
che hanno fatto di Arco la destinazione di vacanza per tanti
climber: roccia, sole, terrazze a olivi...
Una solare placca appoggiata sarà perfettamente attrezzata
perché i giovanissimi climber possano muovere i primi passi
sulla roccia. Già pronti i nomi degli itinerari: Brontolo, Dotto,
Eolo, Mammolo, Gongolo, Pisolo e Cucciolo.

COMING SOON
Eine neue ausgerüstete Kletterwand, betreut von der Stadt
Arco wird in den kommenden Monaten den Outdoor Park Garda
Trentino bereichern.
Wenige hundert Meter von dem berühmten Klettergarten
Policromuro im Olivenhain San Martino entfernt und von Arco
gut zu Fuß erreichbar, entsteht ein Kletterpfad, der ganz den
Familien und Kindern gewidmet ist.
Die Kletterwand Falesia Family von San Martino erfüllt
sämtliche Voraussetzungen, die aus Arco ein Urlaubsziel für
zahlreiche Climbers macht: Felsen, Sonne, Oliventerrassen....
Eine sonnige abgestützte Felsplatte wird perfekt ausgerüstet
sein, sodass die jüngsten Kletterer ihre ersten Schritte auf dem
Felsen machen können. Die Namen der Klettertouren stehen
schon fest: Brontolo, Dotto, Eolo, Mammolo, Gongolo, Pisolo
und Cucciolo, die Namen der sieben Zwerge.

EN
A new cliff outfitted by Arco’s municipality will enrich the
Garda Trentino outdoor park in the next months.
Just a few hundred meters away from the famous
Policromuro cliff, in the San Martino olive grove, which can
be reached from Arco in a few minutes walk, a new cliff
completely dedicated to families and kids will arise.
The San Martino cliff family embodies all those ingredients
that made Arco the holiday destination for many climbers:
rocks, sun, terraced olive groves…
An endorsed and sunny slab will be perfectly equipped so
that young climbers may move their first steps on the rock.
Already prepared the names of the itineraries: Brontolo,
Dotto, Eolo, Mammolo, Gongolo, Pisolo and Cucciolo (the 7
Dwarves).

SAFE CLIMBING
IT
In falesia è buona regola l’uso del casco per proteggersi dalla
caduta di pietre e cadute incontrollate.
È consigliato stazionare ai piedi della falesia solo per lo
stretto necessario ad arrampicare o assicurare, evitando
comunque di restare sulla verticale di altri atleti impegnati in
parete: rischio caduta pietre e materiale.
Chi pratica l’arrampicata deve essere a conoscenza delle
corrette regole di assicurazione e utilizzare l’attrezzatura
adatta dopo averne appreso l’uso.
Non arrampicate mai slegati oltre il primo ancoraggio di
sicurezza.
Se praticate il bouldering adottate il crash pad e le tecniche di
parata, controllate attentamente che l’area di “atterraggio”
sia piana e priva di pericoli, limitate l’altezza di arrampicata
in funzione del terreno e comunque non salite mai oltre i 4
mt. Chi pratica l’arrampicata è cosciente dei rischi che questo
sport comporta.

Im Klettergarten ist es sinnvoll, einen Helm zu tragen,
um sich bei Steinschlag und unkontrollierten „Flügen“ zu
schützen. Es ist ratsam, sich am Fuß der Wand nur so lange
aufzuhalten, wie es für Klettern und Sichern notwendig
ist und in jedem Fall die Vertikale anderer Athleten in
der Wand zu meiden: es könnten Steine oder Material
herunterfallen.
Wer klettert, muss auch sichern können und genau wissen,
wie die Ausrüstung funktioniert, die er benutzt. Klettert
ungesichert nie weiter als bis zum ersten Sicherungshaken.
Beim Bouldern verwendet Crashpads und nutzt
Falltechniken. Achtet darauf, dass der „Landeplatz“ eben
und frei von Hindernissen ist und klettert nur in geringer
Höhe, je nach Bodenbeschaffenheit, aber auf keinen Fall
höher als 4 m. Wer klettert, ist sich bewusst, dass es sich
um eine Aktivität handelt, bei der immer ein gewisses
Restrisiko bleibt, für das jeder selbst verantwortlich ist.

While climbing, please wear a helmet in order to protect
yourself in case of stone falls or uncontrolled falls. It’s
recommended to stay at the foot of the wall only for the
time strictly required to start climbing or belaying. In any
case, avoid staying right below other climbers: rocks or other
debris could possibly fall.
Climbers must be aware of correct techniques of belaying
and should only use equipment after having learned how to
use it. If unsecured, never climb over the first safety anchor.
If you practice bouldering, make use of crash pads and
spotting techniques and check carefully that the landing
zone is flat and free from hazards. Don’t climb too high,
according to the terrain, and in any case never climb higher
than 4 metres above the ground. Climbers should be fully

attrezzate dagli appassionati, con difficoltà dal 5a al 9a. Queste falesie non sono
soggette a nessuna forma di controllo e manutenzione. Il livello di sicurezza
delle pareti e delle attrezzature a dimora è vario: la valutazione delle condizioni
e del grado di rischio è lasciato ai praticanti che se ne assumono la più completa
responsabilità. La maggior parte di queste falesie sorge su terreno privato:
verificare in loco la presenza di eventuali divieti di accesso.
ACHTUNG! : Im Garda Trentino gibt es zahlreiche andere Klettergärten, die
von Liebhabern dieses Sports ausgebaut wurden. Diese Klettergärten mit
Schwierigkeiten von 5a bis 9a, die von unterliegen in keiner Weise einer Kontrolle
oder Instandhaltung. Das Sicherheitsniveau der Wände und der Sicherungssysteme
vor Ort ist unterschiedlich: die Beurteilung der Bedingungen und des Risikogrades
bleibt den Sportlern überlassen, die die volle Verantwortung übernehmen.Der
größte Teil dieser Klettergärten steht auf privatem Boden: überprüft vor Ort, ob
das Betreten eventuell verboten ist.

Nel Garda Trentino sono centinaia gli itinerari alpinistici
che salgono su pareti da qualche decina di metri fino a oltre
1.200 m.
Si tratta di itinerari attrezzati dagli appassionati, con i più
diversi livelli di attrezzatura, non soggetti a nessuna forma di
controllo e manutenzione, dove è quindi necessario saperne
valutare lo stato ed eventualmente integrare le attrezzature
di sicurezza in loco.
La lunghezza, la difficoltà di ritirata, le possibili cadute di
pietre, riservano questi itinerari a chi possiede attrezzature,
capacità e conoscenze tecniche alpinistiche; diversamente,
è consigliabile avvalersi di una Guida Alpina. Chi sale queste
pareti si assume in ogni caso tutti i rischi che comporta la
pratica dell’alpinismo.
Im Garda Trentino befinden sich hunderte alpine Routen in
Wänden von wenigen Metern bis über 1.200 m.
Die Routen wurden von Anhängern dieses Sports auf
unterschiedlichstem Niveau ausgebaut und unterliegen in
keiner Weise einer Kontrolle oder Instandhaltung. Deshalb
muss jeder den Zustand und die eventuell vor Ort zu
ergänzende Sicherheitsausrüstung beurteilen können.
Mit ihrer Länge, dem schwierigen Rückweg und möglichem
Steinschlag sind diese Routen nür für diejenige geeignet,
die über die entsprechende Ausrüstung, das Können und
das technische Wissen verfügen. Sollte dies nicht der Fall
sein, ist es ratsam, sich an einen Bergführer wenden.
Wer entscheidet, diese Wände zu klettern, geht auf jedem
Fall das mit Bergsteigen verbundenes Risiko ein.

Garda Trentino has hundreds of mountaineering routes that
climb walls ranging from a few dozen metres to over 1,200 m.
These routes have been bolted by climbers, with all levels of
safety equipment, and are not subject to any kind of inspection
or maintenance. This means you have to be able to assess the
state of the route and, where necessary, compensate with
security anchors of your own.
The lenght of the routes combined with the risk of falling rocks
makes them suitable only for climbers with the adequate gear,
mountaneering skills and knowledge. Otherwise it is better to
be accompanied by an Alpine Guide.
Who decides to climb these walls takes in any case all the risks
involved in mountaneering.

LINEA POETICA, una spettacolare traversata a pelo
d’acqua, lunga circa 300 mt, con difficoltà tra 5c e
6c, raggiungibile solo via lago.
Nel Garda Trentino dove acqua e roccia si fondono
a creare un ambiente unico, non poteva mancare
un’area dedicata al Deep Water Solo, arrampicata
senza corda sulle pareti a piombo sull’acqua.
Tutta l’area può essere soggetta a caduta di pietre dalle pareti rocciose
sovrastanti, è isolata e può essere difficile l’allerta in caso di incidente;
l’acqua del lago è profonda e fredda e possono esserci repentini
aumenti del moto ondoso. Munirsi di salvagente e prevedere barca di
appoggio. Consigliabile rivolgersi a una delle numerose Guide Alpine
che in zona la propongono.
LINEA POETICA, eine spektakuläre Kletterstrecke
knapp über dem Wasser, etwa 300 Meter lang,
mit Schwierigkeiten zwischen 5c und 6c,
nur vom See erreichbar.
Im Garda Trentino, wo Wasser und Felsen sich
vereinen und eine einzigartige Umgebung bilden,
konnte ein dem Deep Water Solo gewidmetes
Gebiet nicht fehlen, Kletterei ohne Seil auf Felsen
steil über dem Wasser.
Die gesamte Gegend kann Steinschlägen von den darüberliegenden
Felswänden unterliegen, außerdem ist sie abgeschieden und im Falle
eines Unfalls kann sich die Alarmierung als schwierig erweisen. Das
Wasser des Sees ist tief und kalt und es ist möglich, dass unverhofft
starke Wellenbewegungen aufkommen. Rettungsreifen mit sich
führen und Begleitboot einplanen. Es ist ratsam, sich an einen der
zahlreichen Bergführer der Gegend zu wenden, die ein solches Boot
anbieten.

water, about 300mt long, with a difficulty grade
between 5c and 6c, reachable only from the lake.
In the Garda Trentino, where water and rocks
merge creating a unique setting, an area dedicated
to Deep Water Solo could not miss: rock climbing
without ropes up sheer walls on the water.
All the area could be subject to stone fall from the overhanging
rocky walls, it is isolated and an alert call could be difficult in case
of accident; the lake’s waters are deep and cold and the motion of
the rising waves sudden. It is advisable to be equipped with life vests
and to foresee a supporting boat. We do as well suggest to address
yourself to one of the numerous alpine guides that do endorse the
location.
