As high-speed Broadband data service becomes an integral tool to business
world, Xtranet continues to scale and innovate to meet the growing
demand to power the networks of tomorrow. We do this by designing
highly redundant high-speed backbone links to which we connect our
customers using the most appropriate last mile technology. Since the
backbone is 99.9% guaranteed, the risk of downtime rests on the last mile
where we provide backup links.

a) Internet Gateway services
At the international Internet gateway level, we have
contracted International bandwidth from three different
cables. These are Seacom, through Liquid Telecom,
TEAMS through BCS and EASSY through FON Networks.
b) NOC Services
We have a world class Network Operation Centre at our
head office in Citadel, Westlands, where we have all the
routing and switching services plus a help desk with all
the latest tools for proactive network monitoring and
incident and problem management.
We also have a backup set of equipment at Liquid
Telecom tele-house which acts as a disaster recovery in
case of unavailability of the equipment at Citadel.each.
We can therefore confirm that there is a 99.9%
redundancy provided in our design.
