WESTERN Border Soccer Association’s Senior reigning premiers International will be wearing a new strip to honour Indigenous Australians when they gear up against Centrals on Sunday. Initiated by senior co-coach Gareth Von Duve, the round will mark the first team to incorporate the Indigenous community into their strip in the association’s history. Von Duve said he got the idea from the Pioneers who wore a designed strip last season. “I wanted to push the idea as much as I could to make sure we did it and with the help of Linda (McRobert) and Tony (D’Agostino), along with all the players it was able to become reality,” he said.
