Major Client List - Bass Maintenance
“As Construction manager here at ISP I have had
the experience of working closely with the owners
and employees of Bass Maintenance Corporation
and have found them to be professional, courteous,
and knowledgeable in all aspects of industrial
construction. I have worked with them on projects
ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to 15
million and they have executed each project efficiently
and with quality workmanship. The environment
here at our facility is somewhat hazardous due to
the chemicals and processes we use to make our
products, so safety is our Number One priority.
The people at Bass Maintenance Corporation have
been a contributing factor to our excellent safety
record by providing the training and guidance to
their employees that is necessary to work in a safe
and efficient manner here at International Specialty
Products.” - Tim Pierce Construction Manager,

The origin of Bass Maintenance can be traced back to 1969 when the company was created to service the
Westvaco paper mill in Wickliffe, KY. After its successful beginnings Bass Maintenance developed and evolved
into the role of general contractor. Today, Bass Maintenance provides a diversified service portfolio that meets
the needs of a variety of market sectors. The foundation of this growth has been our core values of honesty
and integrity, which are continually applied to every aspect of our business. With help from our expanding
employee base and a constant emphasis on work ethic, we look forward to making both our current and
future clients part of our proven success.

Installation
Bass Maintenance is experienced in the installation of all
types of equipment. Our millwrights are trained to oversee
all necessary alignments with exacting precision. In addition,
we have the boiler license that is required to perform all tasks
related to boilers and pressure vessels. Examples of installed
equipment include:
•Boilers
•Chillers
• Heat Exchangers
• HVAC Equipment
• Pressure Vessels
•Pumps
• Material Handling
4 Hydro Blasting / Painting / Sand Blasting
Bass Maintenance also provides an industrial hydro blasting, painting, and sand blasting service as part
of a maintenance agreement or as a stand-alone service. We have a long history of performing hydro
blasting services in the industrial sector, and employ personnel with over 20 years of experience. This
service has an unmatched level of dependability as it is centered on the ability to respond quickly to the
client’s needs during outages or intermittent projects.

Responsive Workforce
Bass Maintenance is signatory to all union crafts except
sheet metal and insulation. When either of these two
union crafts are needed, the work is subcontracted.
However, due to our signatory status with all the other
building trades, we can self-perform a high percentage of
our projects. Thus, we can utilize our project management
expertise to be more responsive to our clients’ needs. The
ten base crafts we employ include:
•Laborers
•Ironworkers
•Pipefitters
•Carpenters
• Cement Masons
Higher
STANDARDS
Emphasis on Safety
•Painters
•Operators
•Millwrights
•Boilermakers
•Electricians
A safe working environment is the responsibility of each and every Bass
Maintenance employee. We feel it is vital that our employees understand that
safety is the number one priority on any job site without exception. Our safety
policies and procedures as implemented by our director of safety are designed
to create and foster working habits that not only prevent accidents but also set
examples for new employees. These policies have been successfully enforced as
illustrated by our Experience Modification Rate (EMR), which has remained below
0.76 since 2001. With our continued emphasis on safety, Bass Maintenance will
strive to create and maintain a safe work environment that not only meets but also
exceeds our clients’ expectations.
Focus on Quality
A diversified service portfolio, a responsive work force, and a solid safety program
are all significant contributors in producing a quality final product. However, Bass
Maintenance further monitors quality with company wide Quality Control (QC)
procedures that encompass all aspects of our projects. By stressing the importance
of quality throughout the value chain, we ensure that our clients will never be
disappointed.
