NIKARA MORGAN
Nikara is the daughter of Paddy Blessing and Jeremy Morgan. Nikara is the business manager for her school’s
newspaper, the Vice President of DECA, and has been an active member in the drama club musicals. Nikara has
been part of the Big Brother, Big Sister Program and works at the Bavarian Lodge in Leavenworth. In her spare
time, she enjoys baking, art projects, and going to the movies. After graduation, Nikara plans to double major in
business and communications.
Nikara’s favorite TV show is New Girl and her favorite movie is Titanic. Her favorite song is “Best Day of My Life”
by American Authors and her favorite novel is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. She is most inspired by her
mom and her most treasured keepsake is a box that she keeps small souvenirs in that she has had since the second
grade.
Nikara’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom, is to spend time on the river with
her friends in the summer. Her proudest moment in life was completing her own community service project she
started with two of her friends called The Star Reader Program. The purpose of the program was to increase
reading levels and the love of reading for elementary students. If Nikara could trade places with anyone for a day,
she would trade places with Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. Nikara feels she should represent the
Wenatchee Valley because she has lived in Wenatchee her entire life and has a good understanding of what the
festival is about. She believes she is a good role model and has a strong desire to represent her community.
**Reminder: As we talked about at the Mandatory Meeting, please be HONEST about your
involvement in clubs and activities.
