DEAN’S MESSAGE Thank you to everyone who attended the Chapter’s End-of-Year Banquet and Installation Service. It was a fantastic evening, from the excellent catered meal to the beautifully crafted service and music offered. On behalf of the Executive Board, welcome to Dr. Jacqueline Yost and Mr. Kevin Haney as our newest members. Both Jacquie and Kevin bring significant excitement and ideas, and we all look forward to working together. Our Summer Recital Series begins this month! How fortunate we are to have such a stellar lineup of performers playing this summer! Use this opportunity to invite a member of your family, a friend, or neighbor to several of these recitals. It is a wonderful way to share the instrument we love with others! On the national front, the Houston AGO Chapter has worked tirelessly to offer a world-class national convention later this month! They have organized a stellar line-up of recitalists, workshops, and hospitality. If anyone from our chapter is attending, please let me know. It would be great to have a report of your experience for an upcoming newsletter! In the meantime, let us all remind ourselves to rest and rejuvenate this summer. Our Chapter is experiencing growth in new members, exciting programming initiatives on the horizon, and THREE MONTHS OF RECITALS TO ATTEND! I look forward to seeing you at as many as possible. Enjoy your summer!
