Secondary coated 900µm fibres are ideal for use within splice trays or in other protected
environments. These fibres are available in either standard or easy-strip formats and in twelve
different colours for easy identification.

Our pigtails are available in 900µm OM1 62.5/125, OM2 50/125, OM3 50/125 multimode or OS1/
OS2 9/125 (ITU-T G.652D) singlemode 900µm buffered options.

This high performance fibre optic polishing machine offers you superior

speed rotation and revolution method, this fibre optic polisher provides you with
fibre optic connectors that exceed Telcordia GR-326 requirements for end face

Polishing Machine
The PC20 polishing machine has been designed specifically to meet the
needs of the small termination facility. It is a low-cost and easy-to-use
manufacturing solution that supports quick turnaround manufacturing. The
PC20 incorporates variable speed control, timer and polishing counter and
has a wide range of associated polishing jigs available for polishing of all major
connector types.
We provide a complete technical support service and can supply detailed user
instructions from cable preparation through to final test. These processes have
been tried, tested and honed for over a decade in FibreFab’s own termination
facilities.

Polishing Discs
This range of machine polishing discs are precision engineered to give
you a new consistency and control for polishing ceramic fibre optic
connectors. Lasting up to three times longer than standard polishing discs
you can obtain higher yields resulting in reduced polishing costs through
reduced re-work and polishing time.
Measuring 127mm (5”) in diameter, the Optronics discs are available in 5µm
silicon carbide, 6µm,3µm, 1µm 0.5µm diamond and a final finishing film, all
of which are backed with 3 mil polyester to provide a uniformed, consistent
finish.
The discs are suited to any polishing machine with a maximum diameter
polishing plate of 5” including the PC20 Polisher.

Optical RL & IL Tester
The optical RL & IL tester is a high performance loss test station that
is designed specially for optical fibre testing, lab testing and passive
components production. It integrates three different tests modes in one test
station, working as a return loss meter, optical power and loss meter and a
stable laser source.
For ease of use, the RL and IL measurements are displayed on two separate
LCD screens, whilst in return loss test model, the unit will automatically and

Heat Cure Epoxy
A two component, 100% solids, heat curing epoxy designed for high temperature
applications. Although it will perform continuously at 200°C, it will also tolerate +300400°C for several hours.
The Heat Cure Epoxy has excellent resistance to many types of solvents and chemicals
and is ideal for bonding fibre optics, glass, ceramics and most plastics. It will cure in 15-30
minutes at 80°C or 2 minutes at 120°C.
