Name the Circle Honoree
Each year, a special person is honored at the Spirit Gala for their service to the Mercy community,
and their name is put on the street sign at the Blossom Road entrance of the school for a year.
This year, we have chosen our beloved Sister Patricia Beairsto, RSM. Sister Pat has been at Our
Lady of Mercy since 1982. She teaches Theology and is currently the school’s Campus Minister,
overseeing school liturgies, as well as some of our favorite traditions including Golden Mass and
May Day. Sister Pat has inspired many young women throughout her years at Mercy.

Mercy, Mercy Me ... Be a Drama Queen!
Raise your paddle to help support the Drama Club! Students in grades 6-12 learn to craft their dramatic skills
by working with the talented actors from Geva, attend local plays and participate in Mercy’s Children’s Theatre.
New goals for the Drama Club are to direct and produce a middle school play or musical in late spring.
The money raised will give members a chance to perform, direct, design costumes and build sets for the
middle school production.

Gourmet Italian Feast for 30
Now in its third successful year, this homemade Italian feast gets bigger, better and more
popular with each Gala. Your hosts will prepare a fabulous meal for up to 30 guests right in
your home. All dinnerware, table wine, set-up, service and cleanup are provided for you.
You’ll start the night with risotto balls and an antipasto platter. The main course consists
of fettuccini, gnocchi, meatballs, your choice of sauce, and “Jerry’s Famous” bread – all
homemade by your hosts. A chicken dish and a tossed salad will round out your meal.
After dinner, enjoy sipping a limoncello before a dessert of homemade tiramisu and
