My very first day out with the MXT was to a local park
that I'm sure was hunted thousands of times. I pulled
$3.78 out of the soccer field area. Then, I decided to get
off the beaten path and check some of the tree line areas. I
was walking a path through the tree line and came across
a good strong signal. Upon digging, I found the following
jewelry all piled up neatly, along with the colored stones
and amulets. One of the five rings is a Navajo Kokopelli
mens ring, that just so happens to fit me perfectly. What a

$5 Gold Piece under the swings at a local park.
She says the wood chips under the swings are a
great place to hunt.
She attributes her “great luck” at metal detecting
to her Classic ID - and digging everything while
some of her hunting partners will ignore a broken
or faint signal. Aundrea even got her husband
hooked. After he saw all the great stuff she’s
found, he had to get his own metal detector!
For a little over a year now my
brother, who lives on the other side
of the country in Vermont, has been
telling me stories about all the
wonderful things he has been
finding with his White's Classic ID.
Every week or so in the summer
months the pictures would flow in,
e-mail after email, each find better
than the last. Enough is enough,

The best find of all was my Model 1851 US Sword Belt Plate. I am now already on the
airline website, planning my return trip later this year. For now, I am doing some
research in my area to find some interesting places to detect here.

It's not everyone who finds a coveted CS
Tongue. And, it's certainly not everyone who
manages to find one before his 7th birthday. But that is exactly
what happened for Logan S.
"I found it in the back yard where you are digging for the fish
pond," Logan answered when questioned by his Mom, Nina.
Within the next few days Nina & Logan sifted the area behind
their 1860's log home and discovered over a dozen buttons,
some bullets, and a few coins - all without a metal detector. But
that was soon to change. Nina visited her local metal detector
dealer and was soon the owner of a new White's XLT. With this
new addition to their arsenal Nina and Logan began a thorough
search of the area. They were rewarded with a vast assortment of
relics, some predating the Civil War. The Mother & Son team
went on to unearth many interesting items from the early 1700's
right up to the mid-1900's.
Logan has recently received his own brand new Classic II
detector. Now approaching 8 years old, he is a regular partner
for Mom and her XLT as they search near their home for more
exciting recoveries, and build memories to share together.

On June 12 this year, using my DFX, I found a class ring
from a local high school from the class of 1931. I had been
detecting in a friend's cherry orchard and showed him the
ring the next day. The initials were N.S.T. and after a few
moments he said that his mother's initials were N.S.T. She is
still alive and will be 88 this summer. He talked with her
about the ring and she said that she had given it to her
fiancee in the spring of 1936 after she had received an
engagement ring from him. He lost it later that summer
while working in the orchard. She said that she was not
happy with him for losing it, since she had saved all her
earnings to pay for it. This was during the depression when
jobs and money were hard to come by.
The ring had been in the orchard for 68 years and had
been damaged by farming equipment. I had a jeweler
straighten and solder it together and it looked brand new
when I returned it to her a week later. She was amazed the
ring was ever found and surprised at how nice it looks. She
now wears it on her finger after 68 years of being lost.

I had contemplated and researched buying a metal detector for
over a year. Last month, I decided on a White MXT™ after
being able to talk to your New England distributor, by simply
dialing the 800 number - on a Saturday no less! The second
time out with this device, I found the gold shown in the vial.

This piece could only have been found with a metal detector. I
actually had tossed the piece to the wayside while searching for
the target. Once I realized the target was gone, I simply used

Baltimore Maryland. ca. 1771, partnered with John Corman in 1774. Married a Peggy Sanderson
in 1779, and if you can find it, he had a portrait of himself painted by a Charles Wilson Peale, you
can see the face of the guy who made your buckle. Nice Find. He was a pretty important guy and I
found a single spoon made by him going at almost $1,200. A buckle would more than likely fetch
much more.”

One of my neighbors had just finished removing the top inch of sod from the yard of an older
house. I thought this would be a great place to try my new Prizm III. So, I plugged in my headphones and started detecting - with great results. Many nice old relics and a variety of artifacts,
some of them being quite collectible. As for coins, I found a total of 44 coins and 19 of them were
old. The best part is that of the 19 old coins, 5 of them were silver. Yes, I found 5 silver coins the 1st
day I used the detector in the 1st yard I detected! I was totally amazed at how well this detector
works and it's “right-out-of-the-box” ease of operation.
My two favorite finds were sterling silver military captain bars and a gold scale weight which
reads “1 TROY OZ.”. The scale weight probably dates from the mid to late 1800's. My neighbor and

I’ve been using a metal detector for the past five years. Last week, I purchased a

have been a 100 times before, I came across an 1855 $1 Gold Indian that was very deep. At first I
didn’t recognize it, thinking that it was just another religious medallion, but with a closer glimpse I
realized what it was. It has a small hole drilled through. It could have possibly been a pendant.
This is my first gold coin! I'm so happy I decided to upgrade to the Beach Hunter ID.
