Last term ended with a very
successful Fun Run. The
sun shone, students and
staff turned out in a
wonderful array of fancy
dress,
and
everybody
enjoyed the day. The day
is designed to be fun, but it
does have a very serious
purpose; to raise money for
charity and to show our
students that individually
they can make a difference
to the lives of others. Can I
urge you to get your sons
and daughters to collect
their pledged sponsorship
money and to return it to
the Cash Office in school?
This will enable us to pass
on the money as quickly as
possible to our nominated
charities, so that they can
benefit from your children’s
efforts.

raising activities designed to raise the profile of the DEKI appeal and that of several other
charities as well.
• Dates for your diary
• Tesco Vouchers
Well done to the following students who have been actively involved in this initiative and
have demonstrated, to many people, that individuals really can make a difference.

After school the librarians will be there to help you with any research that you need to do for
your homework.
Why not take advantage of the library’s opening hours and focus on finding
quality information to help you with your work.
