RESERVATIONS
If you’re planning a wedding, family reunion, or company picnic,
consider one of our Tulsa County Parks as a unique setting.
Let nature stage your event with all the beauty it has to offer.
Whether you want an indoor or outdoor event, we have a variety
of venues, as well as food service.
Facilities include gymnasiums, lecture rooms, arts and crafts
rooms, meeting rooms, green spaces, and swimming pools. Call
the facility that best suits your needs to discuss availability and
rates. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance.
You are responsible for the safety and actions of your guests,
not only during your event, but until they are home safely. Tulsa
County policies prohibit the possession and use of beer or
alcoholic beverages at rental events in community centers unless
an Alcohol Use Policy and Agreement is approved in advance
and all provisions of the Agreement are followed. Intoxication is
prohibited at all times, but possession and use in moderation of
3.2% beer by those of legal age is generally permitted on park
grounds.

first 3 hours, then $15 for each additional hour. Haikey Creek TriPlex is $75 for the first 3 hours, then $15 for each additional hour.

State of Oklahoma, existing by permissive state legislation,
allowing the Board of County Commissioners to manage a park

PARK BOARD
The Tulsa County Park Board provides a link between the
community and the Parks & Recreation department. There are two
representatives from each district, appointed by the individual
members of the Board of County Commissioners.
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meets quarterly to hear
concerns, discuss issues, and provide input to the department
about the operation of parks and recreation services. For meeting

Park Friends, Inc. was created in 1976 with a vision to expand area
parks and recreation opportunities beyond the traditional support
base of public funding. It is a not-for-profit charitable organization,
benefiting parks operated by Tulsa County and the City of Tulsa.
The mission is to promote interest in the development of Tulsa’s
park system and encourage monetary or non-monetary gifts to the

The Bixby Community Center has an auditorium, meeting rooms,
kitchen and areas that can be rented for group activities and
organizational meetings. There is no charge for room usage
during regular center hours for local non-profit groups. Call the

Chandler Park features 192 acres of wooded area with open space in
the center, has great natural beauty and panoramic views of Tulsa and
Sand Springs. Facilities include hiking trails, rock climbing, swimming
pool, nature trails, lighted baseball/softball complex, lighted basketball
courts, playgrounds, restrooms, picnic shelters, 18-hole disc golf course
and a festival site. Most areas are available for rental.
The Chandler Park Community Center is a 16,000 sq. ft. stateof-the-art facility that includes a gymnasium with bleacher
seating, kitchen/concession area, as well as rooms for special
events, games, meetings, camps and dance classes. The Center
accommodates youth sports, spring/summer youth camps and a
variety of arts/crafts, music, dance and exercise classes for the
whole family. There is a full-service cardio/weight room with
Precor equipment and free weights. Single Member/$10, Day
Pass/$2. All memberships are monthly, with no contract.

to register. To insure that programs are held, you need to register by
the registration deadline with the instructor, if applicable. Most of the
classes have a minimum number of students registered to begin.

LaFortune Park is over 270 acres tucked in midtown Tulsa. It is
the only County Park within the Tulsa City limits. The park has as
golf, baseball, tennis, a 5k trail, pool, playgrounds, picnic tables,
shelters, fishing and a community center.
The Buddy LaFortune Community Center has a gymnasium,
meeting rooms and catering facilities - all available for rent. The
facility hosts sports, camps, exercise and art classes. The complex
maintains a bustling reservation list for its facilities, used for
support groups and dance troops to receptions and weddings.

Contact the instructor for particular information about their
class and to register. To insure that programs are held, you
need to register by the registration deadline with the instructor,
if applicable. Most of the classes have a minimum number of
students registered to begin.

O’Brien Park (located in North Tulsa County) features 140 acres
of park land that includes a swimming pool, walking trail, lighted
baseball complex, 2 large playgrounds, restrooms, picnic shelters,
golf training & practice course, football field, and outdoor
basketball court.
The O’Brien Park Recreation Center has a gymnasium with
bleacher seating, kitchen/concession area, as well as rooms for
special events, games, meetings, camps and dance classes. The
Center accommodates youth sports, spring/summer youth camps
and a variety of arts/crafts, music, dance and exercise classes for
the whole family. There is a full-service cardio/weight room with
equipment and free weights. Single Member/$15, Day Pass/$1. All
memberships are monthly, with no contract.
REGISTRATION
Contact the instructor for particular information about their
class and to register. To insure that programs are held, you
need to register by the registration deadline with the instructor,
if applicable. Most of the classes have a minimum number of

The South County Recreation Center (SoCo) has an outdoor
