2013 has been such a
great year for GENCO
Celebrating 60 years of service and doing so by purchasing the
land for our newest development – a full service branch for our
Woodway and Hewitt members.
We will begin construction on our new branch office in the
Colonnade development on Hwy 84 this fall. The building site
plans were approved by the City of Woodway on July 8, 2013 and
construction is set to begin this fall on the 5,000 sq. foot facility.
The new branch location will be located at 105 Archway Drive
at the entrance to the Colonnade. It will feature: a full service
lobby, safe deposit boxes, and a 4 lane drive through complete
with a convenient dedicated drive through ATM lane.
We have known for some time that we needed to expand our
branch facility in the Woodway/Hewitt area to meet our growing
membership’s needs. We evaluated several pieces of property
and felt this location gave us the greatest convenience and
visibility for our members. It is with

If you’re in need of some extra cash, we’ve got a better
way for you to get it. Skip a loan payment! Yes, if eligible,
you defer one payment on a GENCO loan. You may
choose November, December 2013, or January 2014
to skip your loan payment. Consider it a holiday
bonus for being such a valued member.
Just complete our skip-a-pay loan extension agreement.
Interest will continue accruing on your loan(s), while
your payment is deferred. If your payment is usually
deducted from your paycheck automatically, we will
put that money in your GENCO account when your
payment would normally be due. A $20 fee
per loan will be applied.

to thank the family members
and thousands of volunteers
who have stood by them and
supported our veterans. Thank

Club Funds
Are Coming
For some members, it’s
the most wonderful time of
the year, the day when your
Christmas funds become available. This year,
that day will be October 15, 2013. Funds will be
transferred to your designated savings or checking
account or sent to you by mail. What will you do
with yours?
A lot of members use the account to save money
for holiday shopping. Others open one for each
child and hand them a nice size check each year on
Christmas day. How about holiday travel? Perhaps
you’ve saved enough this year to take the family on
a ski trip.
The GENCO Christmas Club account allows you
to save for whatever you want. This special savings
account is designed to help you save throughout
the year for any purpose. Deposit as much as you
want, as often as you want. The only thing you
can’t do is withdraw. Dividends are paid quarterly
on balances of more than $5.
Saving just $5 a week – about $20 a month – yields
$250 in a year. Plus the dividends you earn. If you
don’t already have a Christmas Club, now is the
time to start. You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll
have in savings by next October.
