Dan Tucker
– 3 year term
I have been on the board
for over 23 years and I
currently work for one
of our sponsor companies, LeBus International. I have really enjoyed
working with the board
and staff over the years
helping the credit union
grow.
Telco Plus has been a critical piece of the puzzle for our members
since 1951. We listen and strive to solve each member’s problems
with SOLUTIONS that are best suited for them in their current situation. We would like for you to join us at the Annual Meeting to vote
on our directors, fill out surveys, and win prizes!

I started my credit
union career at Telco
Plus in 1977. I love the
credit union philosophy of “People Helping
People”. That’s truly what
we are about. I am honored to be serving on
the Board of Directors.

part of the Board and

union. I have been in
the business and sales
industry for over 30
years and I hope my
experience will benefit
all of our members.
New Website Feature - Everything Automotive
Telco Plus is pleased to announce that we have a new
feature for our members, Everything Automotive! This
online tool will help you during the shopping process of
buying a car. The average car shopper spends 4 months
researching and about 14 hours on the internet before
they buy. Everything Automotive is a powerful tool that
lets you search local vehicles, take virtual test drives, print
FREE CarFax reports, calculate payments, and apply for a
loan. We want to help every member receive the best deal
on their auto purchase. Please visit the main page of our

EMV Readers - Easy as 1, 2, 3
News to Know
By now most people have seen the EMV chips on the cards or the
machines. We too will be switching over to the new EMV chip
cards either the first or second quarter of 2016. Your new card
will have a new number. Please start now by making a list of all
auto payments that use your current card. It will make the switch
over a lot easier. To make sure everyone understands how to use
the new machines, here are a few simple steps to help you.
Step 1 Insert the chip end of the card into the terminal
with the chip facing up.
Step 2 Keep the card in the terminal throughout the transaction
and follow the prompts on screen.
Step 3 Remove your card when prompted and take your receipt.
Free Credit Class – Please join us for a FREE
class to understand the world of credit, how to
build good credit, and how to raise credit scores. A
free credit report can be provided. Please RSVP by
Jan. 25th by calling Crystal at 903-753-5588. Seating is limited and refreshments will be provided.
Longview’s class is Tuesday Jan. 26th at 6:00 pm
and Tyler’s class is Tuesday Feb. 2nd at 6:00 pm.
Tyler Business Expo – We will be at the Chamber’s annual show on Jan. 28, 2016 representing the
credit union. Please stop by our booth to enter for
a drawing and say hi.
Candidate application for the Board of
Directors deadline is Jan. 8, 2016. Anyone
wanting to apply for a Board position needs to
contact Betty DeWeese, CEO for requirements and
an application.

*Bill Pay Rules – Sign up by Jan. 31, 2016 for a chance to have one of
your monthly bills paid! Every new bill pay user who signs up with at
least 2 bills this month will receive $25 after 30 days of use. One lucky
member will have one bill of their choice paid, up to $500. The bill of
choice has to be in our bill pay system.
